Thank you. Our main channel is at @scotlandonashoestring but we love old graveyards and visiting war graves to say hello. So much extra footage that this channel was born.
@@PlacesForThePast I lived at the Maybury and would walk to Turnhouse to look at the planes and were sometimes lucky enough to look in the cockpits of civilan and RAF planes, something that nowadays would be unthinkable.
Fabulous episode! Very pretty actually! Thank you very much! 😊💜💖🥰👍
You’re welcome 😊

It’s always a bit sad to see. And yep, the drone thing I’d forgotten about until I saw this :)
If youre interested just up the road from comely bank cemetery is dean cemetery. Its old as well but well kept and had a nice victorian/gothic vibe
We’ll have to get back to Edinburgh. There’s the one up the hill on the Ferry Road too.

@@PlacesForThePast I'll Go along and subscribe to that channel too. I'm hoping to come and film in Scotland later this year or next year.
It was until the early 1960s just plain old RAF Turnhouse.
Yep, We lived just along the road and I'd often go to look at the "real" spitfire there.

Consumption is tuberculosis, but you knew that - right?
I didn’t when we filmed this, but I found out later. Always learning on this “job” :)
