I like watching female reactors do Geoff's cover of Sixteen Tons. They blush, they stumble over their words, they fan themselves, they have to take off their sweaters, ... it's great. The only thing better, is watching vocal coaches who have never heard of VoicePlay, when some subscriber sends them to the Dragonborn Comes cover; one-second in, Geoff hits that nice long sustained low note, G1 or whatever it is, and they pause the video and gush for two or three minutes about how that is the lowest note they've ever heard come out of a human mouth. And then they unpause it, and he goes down a third, because, you know, it's Geoff, so of course he does; but they don't know that, because they just discovered VP, so it impresses the ever living smurf out of them.
*waiting for it* Geoff goes tectonic low with his voice (an E1 btw, thats REALLY low) *enjoying the shocked face* And 2 more Geoff Castellucci fans are made :D
@@KazandraBrock I think that you and your friend would love the "2020 Bass Battle Avi Kaplan vs Geoff Castellucci vs Tim Foust" video. It would be awesome to see your reaction! Greetings from Italy and have a good day!
Geoff has his own channel here on RUclips. He explains how to sing low bass notes without damaging the voice. Those low notes are known as Subharmonics such as E1 at the end of this song.
I liked their reaction the most. This is the reaction of sane women. The reactions I saw earlier were more like the reactions of that woman who is a client of a psychiatric hospital. And here are quite normal, adequate reactions.
Hi, Geoff(Jeff)Castellucci just made another solo cover that is "Blackbird"(Beatles) and he made all the voices just to see his range which is not his entire range, then if you like bass try Peter Hollens feat. Tim Foust ( Tim is from Home Free a cappella group ). Stay safe
Love your reactions. I react that way every time I watch it. A little known song, at least I haven’t seen much reaction to it, is VoicePlay doing Jingle bells to Mission Impossible. Earl, the 1st tenor goes crazy high.
Most of this vid, the looks on your faces can be condensed into "wow, this is impressive" and "she's going to sh*t herself at the low note in the end, mwoahaha"
All of voiceplay's stuff is fun for a little variety look at Home Free as well the Bass guy Tim Foust has a 5+ octave range and is good friends with Geoff from Voiceplay. They even do a Halloween song together. Hillbillies vs Zombies
I love your reactions…, I think this was from a series they did … the other one I remember is Kidnap the Santy claws and there is another one too … all from the Nightmare before Christmas…
Please react to their This is Halloween. That would be so awesome to see. Also, Geoff's The Headless Horseman, if you want to experience his amazing-ness in full!
Btw, Sarah: If you've ever thought of combining that love for music with taking singing lessons, or learning any other instrument, just do it. The only talent you actually need is grit, and it's never too late.
Keep telling her! Btw, it's also perfectly acceptable to be lousy at your instrument. In Sweden there are even choirs for people who are lousy singers.
I just stubbled on your channel and I am enjoying your and Sarah's reactions, but what sealed the deal for me to subscribe is the Teen Wolf sweatshirt. That's my favorite show.
You guys remind me of me and my best friend 🙂 subbing and will go check out the others especially since I'm not as familiar with Voiceplay as I am with PTX and Home Free. And yeah I also think it's kinda very sexy - the confidence in which he sings gets me
Ok you guys need to check out Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble singing Texas Flood. The Shout Factory version reactors have the best luck with it not getting blocked. It’s Texas Blues. He is the GUITAR GOAT! No regrets
Does anybody have ever seen the things who are coming out Geoff's mouth around 2.23 when he's talking about snakes to Santa? I had to slow down the vidéo to be sure.🤔
If you are looking for an interesting, eclectic selection of different types of music to try out, here are a few suggestions for you and your friend to listen to. Most don't get copy righted (except Rammstein, make sure you only use live, not official): Ghost Love Score--Nightwish (Hugely versatile symphonic metal band from Finland with an amazing female vocalist. The Day the World Breaks Down: ruclips.net/video/oFuMKdrzPqU/видео.html (an amazing introduction to Ayreon because he explains everything/everyone in subtitles as the song progresses). Dark Sarah & JP Leppaluoto--Dance with the Dragon: ruclips.net/video/dc3XcTcTjaw/видео.html (Finnish symphonic rock opera. This song introduced me to European metal. It will always be a favorite because of that! The man, JP Leppaluoto has many sidebands as well: Northern Kings, Harmaja, Charon [Colder is a good song)], Powerless Trio and more) Konsta Jylhan Joululaulu is like a ballad ruclips.net/video/cLcUObOzicg/видео.html Apocalypse Orchestra--Garden of Earthly Delights: ruclips.net/video/5BhUPFwAFQo/видео.html A (Swedish band that plays folk/medieval metal.)

And then when you can do that last note it's such an awesome feeling 🙂
@@jonadabtheunsightly when it goes down that low note turns into c#1, which is just ludicrous at that point
Blackbird will give her very nice isolated clear showing of his voice
Don't forget about the Headless Horseman! One of his best!
YESSSSS!!!
@@KazandraBrock Can you react to tomi P grace?
OMG I loved your reaction! Geoff's voice is like liquid velvet. I look forward to watching more VoicePlay/Geoff reaction videos from you. 😁
That last note is what is known as a subharmonic E1, absolutely crazy
Those underlying growls that are so easy to miss... example 1:26, 2:28, and 3:27
You should definitely watch Voiceplays Little Mermaid Medley!
Hell yeah, new VoicePlay reactor! I hope you do more :)
I have a few already recorded and going out next week! Thanks so much for the support!! I love Voiceplay!

Watching Kaz reenact Geoff’s end of this performance to prove his range… priceless! 😂😂😂
That last note. Yummmm!!!! For those curious, that's a E1, which is the 5th lowest full note on a piano
*G1
Geoff's vocal range is 5 octaves in case you were wondering

You HAVE to to blackbird by the bass Geoff castellucci, he hits the same note but even more powerfully. Arguably his best work!
Love your reaction to oogie boogie your gonna love geoff in some of his solo efforts like black bird and the bear necessity from the jungle book
