1. You should build a community driven website, such as Behance to showcase Videos with links to Github repos. This would help UI/UX developers and designers to share their creations and code - while simultaneously bringing more popularity to your project. 2. You can also start collaborating News Media sites such as "Now This" or any other media which produce short videos. Instagram reel or TikTok users might also be interested in this. 3. To engage community do make sure to have a subreddit. Don't invest in discord - its basically a Blackhole, since the content is not indexed by search engines.
Awesome... Thanks for you all tutorial, Jonny Also I want to add a button in my same code, and when I click on button my video should be start creating, basically what we are doing with "npm run build" I want to do the same with button click. Could you plz make a tutorial for this?
Hey Jonny, just wanted to drop in and say remotion is an amazing project which is going to change the way developers create videos. I had a few questions... 1. Do you see remotion being used/misused to create short form video content at scale and do you have a strategy to combat it (cause automated content creation is kinda spammy)? 2. Also, what is the direction you planned on taking this project in the future (if you could talk about your end-goal)? Thanks in advance, love from India :)
Hi Reuben! Thanks a lot 😊 1. I could see it actually! I cannot really feel guilty for it though as I am only making the tool with intentions to empower benevolent use cases, and not abusing it. 2. The plan is to enable developers make not just programmatic videos, but apps that allow non-developers to generate videos! We are pretty close in reaching that goal and are soon announcing a full stack for doing that. After that, we will focus on making all parts of Remotion easier to use with new tools, templates, examples etc.!
