its a bit sad what happened with the PAC 12 but when USC & UCLA left it was obvious that change was coming, i have followed TCU Texas Tech and Baylor even prior to this, i for one think UA is better in the Big 12 and i am happy as a fan to be here
If Ray Anderson's goal was to demonstrate the ineptitude that has plagued his tenure at ASU will follow him to the Big 12---Mission Accomplished!

ASU should have never been given a lifeboat, given their failings in the PAC12. The Big12 needs to schedule ASU's fist football game at WV.

Trust me, ASU is not bashing anyone in the Big 12. The overwhelming sentiment in Tempe is excitement!
The arrogance of these schools is ridiculous. If they are so righteous they should have stayed and sunk with the rest of the Prog 12.
ASU's AD has said he will not go to WVU. The Big 12 should let them stay with the Pac-4 group. All Big 12 teams & staff visit each other.
I appreciate what you all do; it's been enjoyable. One note: WVU does not have a scholarship softball team so nobody in the Big XII will have to come to Morgantown for softball.

I was surprised and extremely grateful for all the people telling the ASU brass to go suck an egg you bunch of weenies, Morgantown is a fun visit... 😂 Also, looking forward to that first night game in Morgantown against ASU, yes we have been down in football the last few yrs, but we can still create one hell of an atmosphere for a college football game! 🏈🏈

I might be Tech grad and I might consider your school a rival but you’re our conference mate. That means something to me. We can talk smack to each other but these newbies need to check themselves.

I don’t like all this reformation, the big 12 was perfect when everyone played everyone it made the conference unique and made it feel like every game was somewhat of a rivalry.
Rather go to Morgantown than Tempe

i can understand that in basketball for sure but they'll be okay in football and UA/asu rivalry has to have riot cops at the games i think you will enjoy this rivalry
@@furiya666I've been to several Territorial Cups in Tempe and they can be insane. One of the years Arizona won (amazingly haha) someone lit part of A mountain ablaze. Also, the riot cops ran past us on the way out of Sun Devil another year, I can attest to the rivalry.

These schools have been horrible in the Pac-12, but maybe they will be better in the Big XII.
Please note the difference in tone from the 4 "new" schools (UCF, Houston, BYU, Cincy) when they joined, compared to AZSt.
The way I see it, if you don't want to be in this conference, then you haven't played a game yet and you are welcome to rescind your application.

They do track meets with like multiple schools at them it literally won’t be that different and those kids will get more exposure

Make ASU go to Morgantown their first year.
The Big Xll is now up to 16 teams. Good.Two divisions, East and West. 8 teams in each divisions and 7 games in your home division. That leaves 2 games a year in the other division. That's a total so far of 9 conference games. Of the two games in the other division you could have one game at home and the other away. Should be no problem. Of course it would be a home and away basis. You'll eventually make your way through every team in the other division. We'll live through it. I'm excited about the future of the Big Xll. Vaughn
I almost forgot. We need 3 games to make 12. The 3 tune up games schedule teams close by. Make them visit you. Vaughn.
Brett Yormark and the current Big 12 leadership need to send Crow, Anderson and all of the rest of these new schools presidents and athletic directors a clear, seriously stern warning that this kind of public negativity will not be tolerated and that from now on CFB is the focus. They can either get it together or kick rocks. I'm hoping some leadership changes are on the way for ALL of the university presidents and AD's that sat back and cosigned the inept leadership of their previous conference.

These new schools that are coming in with the big.twelve Conference They're the nurturing internet. I'm not gonna be able to make demands on whe. Ther or not gonna play and where they are gonna play. And whether or not gonna travel too. If you're part of that convert, you're, don't drive to Japanese That Campus at University. At least once.

The hubris of Anderson and Crow is amazing. The Big 12 Presidents should have never approved them to enter the conference. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Anyway to throw them out and bring Oregon State in instead?

BIG 12 fans should be careful what they wished for and study how the Mountain West conference came into existence. ASU and Utah only came to the BIG 12 because they had no other options. They don’t really want to be in the conference. The ASU AD is being honest about who they’re interested in being in a conference with and it’s not WVU, KSU and Iowa State. They want to play Colorado, the Utah schools and the Texas schools and that’s it. This new BIG 12 are only beholden to each other until the end of this tv deal in about 6 years and after that anything can happen. There use to be a 16 team conference called the WAC. The top schools broke away from the rest of the less valuable WAC schools to form their own conference which became the Mountain West and the school that spearheaded it all was Utah! Be wary of what you wished for because in this new college football landscape where it’s all about the media money, the big tv market programs hold all the power.

The AD was joking about not liking cold weather and and the president said he was putting an office for him there and he laughed and said he's not doing that. Completely innocent with reporters laughing.
