I love break dance I got it from a break dancer named Roshawn Washington he told me that in order to break dance I have to have a lot of balance he teaches me a lot and I am still learning

Scala Vi Gun and Cheerito didn't do that either. They battled one round before the were on the mainstage.
I don't like them displaying the results per round. It gives no feedback to the dancer as to why they failed that round (R16 system at least gives this), and It affects the dancers performance negatively. Just keep the results hidden until the end so the dancers can focus! Seeing their frustration midway through a battle just sucks.
Fid Fiddles Agreed. Before R16, nobody ever gave you a score card, and if you wanted to get better or wanted to know why you lost, you just talked to the other bboys, you asked the judges respectfully. We are a community, after all.

Well the difference is that other sports/competitions are binary. You get the ball in a hole you get a point. This is art/dance and opinions on performance are subjective.
I get what you are saying, but if it's the spirit of competition vs best performance possible, I'll take the latter.

Fresh Flava _ Dude, you're high if you don't recognize how good the power move guys were. They were on beat. They were clean. They had long rounds. A lot of those combinations were original, like it or not. Lil G even does some decent footwork here and there (and has a few funny burns for Cheerito in his second round). I respect the creativity Russia's bringing (and Cheerito's one of my favorite bboys period), but you can't honestly deny how good Pocket and Lil G were in this battle.
And the judges were well-balanced; Stuntman and Rubberlegz are not going to be biased toward power over abstract originality, and between the 5 of them, they probably have a century of Hip-Hop experience. You're more butthurt than the bboys who competed and lost. Is that weird?
In a private capacity(Personally) the originality dominates above all. I agree, Lil G and Pocket were great, madman's powermooves, but powermoovers they it in heights, we see it rather often. Then Cheerito and Gun was better. Here is my opinion :) sorry for my english, i am french
Fresh Flava _ look at the crashes, the round cherito and gun took was cause of a minor crash lil g had, and last round gun wasn't that clean, and even though I prefer style over power, lil g and pocket won it fair

I think thats a tie. Cheerito won both his rounds. Super underrated bboy just because he doesn't do traditional power combos. Trust, his moves require sick power...

Adam B Not really, They both have different style and not many BBoys can do what Cheerito does so he really doesn't have that much competition , However, Lil G is a Power Move specialist and there are loads of powermovers and Lil G has proven to be one of the best in the world in PowerMoves !
I like Cheerito's style because its abstract but super athletic. Reminds me of Jibaku.
Sethro Sizeofthesun Cheerito's one of the freshest bboys out, and I like him a lot more than Lil G, but Lil G put up a nearly unbeatable round. The thing that holds him back are his crashes, and his first round was clean, on beat, incredibly difficult, and long. He could have stopped like 3 times, but he kept stacking moves. Compare the length of the rounds. Lil G came out the gate harder and had a much longer round with incredibly explosive moves. No way Cheerito won that round, even though he's one of my favorites.

It's normal if they win, if you put 2 of the best powermoves bboy together on a competition .. xD?
Not so, as it turns out, they lost in the third round. Soo, they don't always win even with a 2x power move bboy combo.
Their problem is lack of versatility. power movers are good on a single one vs one match or great when complimenting a crew but when in a ladder elimination competition, unless they have a hidden ace up their sleeve per round, they quickly lose points for repetition. thats what happened in this 2015 event. they lost to Nabil and Keyz in the third round.

Its kinda hard to compare these two teams. I thought Cheerito and Gun had some really intricate movements that might have gone unnoticed by the crowd. Alot of times it feels like the power moves win over the crowds is all.

I just wish Pocket would become a little more creative. Don't get me wrong, his power moves are BEAST, but I would like to see some more creativity and attention to detail. If he could incorporate that and then go into his insane power moves, he would pretty much be the complete bboy imo. Still, always good fun to watch him!
