What I love about The Hobbit is how straight-forward the narrative is. In LOTR Tolkien tends to get lost in intricate descriptions of the environment, but in The Hobbit he gives you the bare essentials and then focuses on telling a story.

I do make these professionally! I've done several audibooks for Audible. Look up "books read by Nathan Weiland" on Audible and see what comes up. Don't listen to "death's angel"... I regret doing that work and probably always will. It's bad. For a lot of reasons.
