Ive pretty much never been to The Philippines Gareth but did try my first filipino dish in sydney - oh dear what an eye opener, such an underrated food for something so incredibly good. I had the turon as well - its delicious crunchy and soft, the highlight for me is definitely sisig for filipino food.
Goodness the Halo Halo 😛 yashh
Glad you've tried those pilipino signature foods. Pilipino food have something very unique that you cant never compare to other country food, they're just so flavorful that your tongue wont never forget it

Fantastic video, Gareth! You must have had the time of your life going around LA to try the best Filipino foods the city has to offer. Really awesome job! That purple yam cake looked incredible! I'm curious, what does the betamax taste like? Does it have the heavy iron flavor that liver has?
Hi Gareth nice filipino food mukbang your beautiful guest Audre is amazing and very pretty maybe you can invite her to explore the Philippines.

Thank you for embracing Filipino especially our food and sharing your best experience in our country. 💕🇵🇭
Thanks to you for everything, you doing great for us and for country ,we love u🇵🇭🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦🇯🇵
Audri has an angle that looks like Nicole Scherzinger and the other guy looks like Floyd Mayweather :)
You should have ate the rice together with the lechon kawali and adobo.
The original sisig doesn't really have liver in it.
The quek quek (quail egg) should have been dipped with either vinegar or sweet sauce.
Ube halaya or custard is the original dessert that was the flavor of that cake.
I had my first Greyhound ride in 2014 from Los Angeles to Vegas, alone, and it was quite an experience for a tourist like me. It's safe, fun and adventure all at the same time. I even met a friend, Korean married to a fellow Filipino. Love you and your videos/adventures!
Waddup, Gareth! Nice vid. I just subscribed. Keep the videos coming, bro.
Gareth, goto Crispy House( 11869 Artesia Blvd, Artesia, CA 90701) only Filipinos or local knows this place. Doesn't even have a sign outside..Their known for Crispy Pata..Then head to Cerritos for more Filipino restaurant like Pinoy pinay, salo salo etc..
Dennis Z I’m in Anaheim, I’m gonna bookmark that spot. Thanks
Adding this to my list! Cheers!
Be prepared for slow service at this place! Its good though.
Your friends are awesome for being open minded to trying foreign foods. Btw, almost no one eats that tough white part of the Balut. 😉
Thanks Teresa, they are great people! Good to know about the Balut... I made the same mistake when I ate it!!
Gareth, sometimes the white part of the Balut is not too hard then it can be eaten...but most of the time it’s too hard...
i love to eat that white part in it when it wasn't that too hard.. it is delicious for me..
ahahahah I wish I knew that !!
Its okay to eat the white hard part Its up to you
this video made me crave for all those food that you had, Gareth you're just simply great!

hi and please do a vlog before you try thanks
enjoy
Try Pinoy Diners when in Long Beach. It's the best filipino restaurant in Long Beach, try their oxtail in mushroom or thick adobo sauce. The chef/owner is also great!
Let me come with you, thanks.
Thanks for showing video! I'll try to see that place,
I really enjoy your videos Gareth, I like how you tell the story.
Your friends they're all into it. Your friend that ate balut she nailed it. Funny u didnt try Max in the phils if ever u come back try Savory and Aristocrat, those 3 are the few oldest restaurants in the Philippines.
There are filipino restaurants in San Diego and a big filipino community. Try it out Gareth.
I can't wait to test them out!!
Check out National City...south of SD
Full of restaurants and dessert places
Yeah you could've just went to National City or Mira Mesa for Filipino food. Tons of places to eat.
Oh... Yes, Manila Sunset is one of many Pinoy's resto in SD... great place... nice folks and yummy array of foods, grabe!!!
The biggest concentration of Filipinos in San Diego area are in National City, ang Mira Mesa where you can find authentic Filipino foods, groceries and restaurants.
Audrey, you're a trooper! Awesome job to you both!
You amazed me. Thank you for appreciating Filipino foods.😊😊😊
Your friend Audrey is beautiful!!! 😍
❤️❤️
Damn right, definetly a 10/10. She ate the balut. Gwapa nga way arte haha
Gorgeous!
She is....
Awesome! You ppl didn't try the authentic Max fried chicken. I always go to Max at Tomas Morato every time I'm back in the Phil.
I enjoyed seeing you and your friends feasting on some Filipino dishes and desserts. Needless to say that I'm proud of it.
OMG this is my type of VIDEO! Looks delicious 💚💚💚
Love all of them dishes, thanks Gareth, my eyes are full, but my stomach is empty and growling to get me some food hahaha 😂🤣🤤❤👏☝️✌🤟🙏🇵🇭

Gareth, thanks for featuring filipino foods in your vlog.we really appreciate it a lot spreading good info. about the filipino foods and culture to the rest of the world.keep it up!
wow! thanks for making this video!
This chick is badass!!! Eating balut and loves it.
10:37 Hear that? You know you're in a Filipino place once you hear Aegis band singing in the background, Banatana ba naman ng Basang basa sa Ulan eh. Now that couldn't be more FIlipino. The only way to top that is to put a karaoke machine and sing Sinta.
Excellent Gareth for promoting our humble delicious Filipino food.
My mouth is watery watching you eat . Glad you guys like Filipino food.
for me, he's Mayweather look -a- like :) hahaha
thanks for showcasing Filipino food
Audri is braver than I am. I can’t take balut ever. I have tried every strategy Including hiding in the dark so I cant see it. I just can’t. I have to give kudus to her.
Haha, she had a lot of peer pressure (and a camera in her face) lol
Same, tbh, im Filipino and I only eat the yellow part and sip the "soup". The rest, I throw it away.
it's just all in the mind..lol
throw the duck.. that is what I do but I can actually eat the whole thing. I am not just in the mood to eat the duck sometimes.
the white part actually takes the edge of for me...hehehe helps me to have another 1 hehehe
Thanks for featuring Pinoy food places in LA / Cali. 👍😊wish to come back to USA someday.
Sir gareth i just wanted to tell you that this video has been one of the best "usa filipino food experiences" content i have watched. well done.
I didnt know floyd is tagging along with you. Lmao
Seriously, you went to Max’s and no one told you to try their specialty- THE CHICKEN🥴
Yeah! Shame. Hahaha. I love the batter-less fried chicken from Max's dipped (or even smothered) in banana sauce/ketchup. Sometimes I ask for Soy sauce, siling labuyo, and calamansi concoct. The best!
There's a lot of fried chicken in America, maybe that's why he's not intersted in that.
Max chicken isn't really that good.. Its super dry and bland.. Flipino here.
Great editing. Crisp presentation. ❤️❤️❤️
Gareth.thank you very much for introfucing our food may God Bless you always
I GENUINELY THOUGHT YOU WERE WITH FLOYD MAYWEATHER , loce from the Philippines
That lady is a wife material...😍😍😍
Lol someone's easily convinced. She can hang tho
I'm very proud and happy that you're promoting our food coz it's part of our culture. Thanks
Fabulous food tour, I love ube halaya. Thank you for sharing and showcasing Filipino food. Hope you found some good Filipino food in San Diego.
Gareth check out San Francisco & Sacramento, then little Manila in Stockton..You ever in Sacramento check out Filipino communities & a small Filipino comedy bar here in Sac.

the guy with gareth looks like Floyd Mayweather.
When she eat kwek kwek
the background music tho
Loki atbp

I think maybe Floyd was served a kind of Filipino foods when he visited Palawan and Davao as well Manila last year
At first glance I thought so

Thanks Gareth for featuring Filipino food and loving our culture. New subscriber here 👍
Thanks for the info. We will try going there the next time we will be in Cali.
There’s a huge Filipino community in San Diego. U could’ve just went to national city or Mira Mesa in San Diego. Smh.
Love ur japan crawl vid, and I just saw this on my feed and I still haven’t subbed? You earned it indefinitely. Great quality content, such a gem of a channel.
I am so glad you guys loved our food!!!!I was watching with my mouth wateringgg arghhh!!!
Hope we could have those kind of restaurants too here in Kelowna BC.
And you guys are so cuteee!!!I love Audrey so lovely
Thank for a good video Gareth
Wow! Whole day of Filipino meals. Good of you to bring your friends and introduce them to new dishes.
Great places to visit when I'm in LA. Thanks
So awesome Audrey tried Balut and the street food! Great video ! Hopefully Filipino food is the next big thing in the USA!
Never been to L.A. Filipino town, glad you showed us some of these restaurants.
I like how audri eats the balut.just wow. Also my heart is full when i see foreigners appreciating our filipino foods. Thanks so much Gareth. Am a new subbie here from Cebu city😍.
Balut is just gross. Its not unique to Filipinos though. They have that in Northern Vietnam. But Vietnam has way too many kinds of dishes, so they never talked about boiled eggs. Sad for Philippines, Boiled Egg is really glorified. In Cebu, I love Larsian and those Triangle rice.
Salute to your friend Gareth, she is a brave soul to try Balut and other grilled street favorite. Thanks again to share our cuisine to those who haven't tried it yet. Stay healthy and safe. God bless
Your vlogs are great. I have finished all your vlogs from the Philippines and you really had a great time here in my country. Hoping you can come back after Pandemic.
Nice food vlog. I am hungry watching your videos. Thanks for sharing our filipino food!
