@@msya2831 You cannot compare VW to Mercedes or BMW bro as their price point are different level. For instance, VW Golf highest spec is RM169k where else a Mercedez A250 is RM253k. VW handling should be best compared to Renault or even perhaps Toyota and Honda too.

this reminds of the drive i had last late evening in my skoda octavia 3 1.8 TSI 180HP, also made on MQB platform, similar engine, similar power to weight ratio with this car. Mine is manual and also Skoda lends more to confort rather than stability in corners, but damn, it was a fun "aggresive-ish" drive, pumped me with some adrenaline i can tell you that. I love the engine character, very free revving, very responsive, very smooth power delivery and liniar (mine is limited to 250Nm unfortunately, but still good enough). Maybe one day i'll upgrade to an arteon, since it fits the same category as my Octavia, but one class higher.
Wow, I love the fact that you can buy a manual. Over here, manuals are very rare, and almost non- existent in some brands. Thanks for a very good share.

Things like noise insulation poor, ride too firm, too much body roll, what competitors are better in what aspects etc.. perhaps even build quality and even reliability based on your experience cause right now every car you drive seems equally good no matter the brand or power. E.g perhaps this Arteon vs the Mazda 6 2.5?
Brilliant video uncle :) Brilliant review however the only thing that disappoints me is that : 1. VW brought the Arteon quite “late” into Malaysia (while in Canada n Singapore we have it for almost 2 years) 2. VW’s decision to launch the Arteon as a CKD vehicle (my personal preference cuz if I were to buy a continental car I would rather have a CBU version) 3. VW Malaysia detuned the Arteon to 190 PS , with no 4Motion All Wheel Drive System and sunroof option...(To me it’s just horrendous...a VW is suppose to be fun and utterly brilliant to drive) Despite all these complaints from a VW Arteon R-Line owner living in Canada...I still envy the Malaysian version for having the Golf R steering wheel as a standard equipment. Cheerios everyone :)
I think the decision to make it a CKD did impact the launch timing, and also the Covid 19 issuue contributed. to it. some people may prefer a CBU, but the majority of people will appreciate the CKD programme as it brings the price down to a decent level. We are already paying high prices for cars here in Malaysia. Thanks for your input anyway, Cheers.

Overall handling, driving dynamic etc between Arteon R-Line and Honda Accord 1.5 Turbo which one is a better buy? No wireless charger, USB port at the back is quite a let down.
Basically it is a choice of a 1.5 litre turbo or a 2.0 turbo tuned conservatively, amd a choice of a cvt versus a 7 speed dct. Both cars are similar in size, one Japanese one German, both good. Take your pick. Wireless charger is not a deal breaker, I should think.
How's the reliability and qa of vw nowadays? When I had my Golf Mk6 1.4 tsi it gave me heaps of problems, at one stage tthe engine had ot be replaced, ucky it was under warranty. That was 2014

Depends on your lines. I can make it screech everytime, for effect. Fastest is when it just starts to screech.

The Arteon would be more comfortable, and much larger, but the cla may be more agile, because it is lighter, but likely to be very harsh on your butt.

It fares very well, and power is very good, compared to the others.

The car is built as an executive sedan, and behaves like that in so far as NVH is concerned.
Cabin is very quiet. Stable when goes through the stride. I think should be better than Camry.
Uncle is the new 1.4 tiguan have smooth driving? And responsive engine? Is it ideal for 7 seater?

Handling is definitely better. And you have DCC, which means you have options to select, soft, medium or hard.
