Of course it matters; the more efficient a panel is, the less space required to produce the same amount of electricity. Imagine running your house off a one square metre solar panel one day.

I want to know, which panel gives me as much energy within range 25 years, 1, static conditions === azimut, inclination, 2, tracker. If panel has -0.27 % temp power coeficient and degradation 0.3 % per year, maybe it is better, than panel with -0.39 % temp. coef and degradation 0.7 % per year.

This video really help understand power requirements. Previously o was taking the wattage of the panels and miltiplying by 15 to 18% efficiency. This encouraged me that panels are more affordably than previously thought.

To your estimate, what is the theoretical limit of solar panel efficiency?

    Like the information. Thanks!

Is the fill factor a reasonable measure of solar panel efficiency?
Also, I have a van with limited roof space, so I was wondering what the best formulation for efficiency would be that takes into account the solar panel size? In your opinion, would watts per square inch be sufficient?

Thank you soo much i have been so confused with this issue of solar efficiency such as 23.23% i could not understand it but now i get it well understood thank you so much 😊
