As usual, just the best content. I lived in France for 8 years and although officially you can’t modify cars/bikes the older French guys always seem to know a way around the bureaucracy. Watching this just makes me want to finish my build and go on a road trip. It’s just an amazing country and people. Can’t wait for the next episode. Thank you Brian for the effort and time. 👍
Bri, mate... When I was a kid I grew up in Brixton in South East London, and there were places like this everywhere. There were MK2 Jags literally dumped on the street and we used to pass an abandoned Aston DB7 with flat tyres on our way to school in Angell Town behind the police station. There were three story town houses lying empty with enormous gardens and workshops, and guys had set up breakers and scrap yards all over the place with terrific, interesting and friendly people who all just got along and had a great life doing just that as they earned a living trading with each other, repairing and maintaining what they had instead of getting strapped up with everything on tick. I still cannot believe how quickly Pay and Display UK has become such a hostile, over-legislated, overpopulated, sterile and basically just fkn horrible place, full of bad tempered tailgating zombies and "safety" cameras. Anyway, ranting aside, your videos are distilled therapy for people like us, and proof we can escape the matrix if we really want to. I bough a place in SW France and the foundations are in, services are up to site and next year, we will start to build our new home with plenty of workshop and garage space for our old cars and bikes. The dream is becoming a reality and you and these lads are paving the way.
Another great video Bryan, men of a certain age having a great time in France, what a cool and calm place to be, great craic with like minded people, cheers Dude😊
Gets better and better great video, I believe if we had the space here there would be alot more places like Steve's at least I would keep alot more motors than I do .Thank you Brian

Brian, Thanks for taking us on this awesome trip.. It seems that the brotherhood of rust and equipment along with cars and piston bikes are common to all of us across this great world!!!
Nice one Bryan!!!! Loved the old cranes and equipment. Lost a friend of mine a few weeks back. He worked in the coal mines in West Virginia before he moved down east. He was forever sending me videos of the old cranes, draglines and excavators. Also, nothing but smiles when Mr. Hawkeye broke out the "Folsom Prison Blues". Cheers!!!
thanks mate, sorry for your loss dude, a miner mate of mine died recently too...love all those massive tonka toys felt like a kid in the sweetshop! cheers bro

Hi Brian, Now these are my type of videos. Blooming great content. In rust we trust. Found your channel 6 weeks ago and now catching up. Well done . Dave....Norwich uk
What some brilliant content loved the pacific. Wynns from newport bought a few after the war recabed them and used for many years on heavy haulage .Mike Lawrence saved one from the scrapyard rebuilt and takes it to shows.
This French lifestyle does look inviting. I've many happy memories of France and French hospitality too... Très invitant. J'ai beaucoup de bons souvenirs de la France et de l'hospitalité française aussi...
Bry, you were like a kid in a sweet shop! Really glad you enjoyed yourself! All of it was great, too much to list my favourites. But Richards collection of big boy stuff was amazing! Have a great week.
"He who dies with the most toys wins" Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! In the episode of "Living the Dream" it has to be Richard with his 80 acre playground!
Hello there ! It's Caspar's daughter speaking. I'm really glad that you enjoyed your journey in the south of France with my dad. Your friend plays the banjo very well. It's so cool ! Have you meet wild boars or partridges at my dad's place ? There's a lot of them in the area. ^^

That Pontiac lamons on that rack is a very rare car worth a lot of money .😊😊 I would buy that in a minute.
nice car, at 502 ci it will fly !
it's a Buick Rivièra 1971 455 stroked to 502ci. Underneath is a Buick 350 GSX unrestored, but runs great🙃👍

Never realised [til now] that A30/35s had a universal nickname [PEANUT] Here in Oz they are referred to, as such, as well.

Only in France, two guys casually carrying what looks like a 2CV chassis through a village fete. “Disinfect after using” on that cute truck.
