Bee-lzebub (Queen Bee) is the deadly sin of gluttony. Hence, why she throws these elaborate parties and encourages everyone to overindulge, to literally feed off the good vibes of everyone in the room. That's also why she only wants them to do it for fun, and gets concerned when Blitzø is clearly doing so as a coping mechanism. That doesn't "taste" good to her, and she knows how bad it is for one's mental health.
That makes her one of the most or the only one empathetic demons

@@SilverScribe85 I am really curious about Satan, because he must be a very good character, given how he is deified by the Hellborn denizens. They are always like "Oh Satan!" Instead of "Oh God!" and such...even tho Satan is not even the ruler of Hell in this canon, only one ring.

I can only speculate from what we see of her powers in "Cotton Candy", but it seems like she also materializes all that positive energy as her mead, which she sells as alcoholic Beelzejuice or transforms it into sweets at her parties. Gluttony is defined as endless indulgence, and I think that cycle of happy emotions (if but a sugar high) and sweets creation earns Bee her position as the Sin of Gluttony, in a creative way.
Fun fact, this episode took forever to make because of Ke$ha's (yes, Ke$ha plays Bee in this episode) contract and therefore they needed to wait for said contract to end just to have the rights to relase it
Knowing the history between Ke$ha and the creator, this episode is very satisfying.
Plus, she wasn't allowed to sing.

I love how sweet Beezlebub is. But my favorite part about this episode is that Loona FINALLY called Blitz dad. Even if it was only in one episode, it still meant a lot to me to finally hear her call him that.
Yes, but it's a pity that Blitzo was too drunk to hear it, understand it, and remember it.
to no one's surprise, bee's design got a lot of controversy, when this episode first aired, with quite a few people pointing out that bee doesn't properly represent the sin she's based on. i guess people just wanted another super cliché super skinny/super fat dude surrounded by flies.
however, vivzie already mentioned in the past that she was trying for something new and creative when designing the sins and, if you bother to actually look at her, bee does have all the elements associated with her sin, just in a more subtle and creative way.
for example, she's still very much fly themed. just instead of your boring everyday housefly, she's based on a hover fly, a type of fly that mimics the look of a bee to ward of predators, but is still very much a fly nonetheless (you can tell by her wings. bees have four wings, flies and bee both only have two).
she also nicely represents the theme of "hunger", which is usually associated with the sin of gluttony. if you pay attention, her stomach is actually a lava lamp, meaning she can't actually absorb any of the food she eats, as it gets immediately burned upon contact with her stomach, keeping her always hungry for more. although bee much more represent a more general concept of gluttony anyway. after all, gluttony isn't just about food, but an overindulgence in anything, be it food, drinks, drugs or partying.
finally, in dante's inferno the third layer of hell, gluttony, is the lair of cerberus, who is described as "the guardian of gluttony". so bee being based around and having close ties to dogs actually makes a lot of sense.
so yeah, i like this depiction of bee(lzebub). it plays into the theme related to the character, without being cliché, which is more than can be said for of a lot of people.

I really do wish that Blitz would talk to Stolas about what happened in the last episode. Him talking about dying alone really shows just how broken he is and it breaks my heart
Bee is this show‘s version of Beelzebub meaning she is one of the Seven Deadly Sins like Asmodeus.
In the real world demonology, Beelzebub is a male who, when not seen as just another version of Satan, is often depicted as a mix between a giant fly and a bee or wasp due to his nickname being "Lord of the Flies". He is often seen as Lucifer's loyal second-in-command and the one to manage Hell's day-to-day affairs. According to the Dictionnaire Infernal, he founded the Order of the Fly, a group of high-ranking demons handpicked by Beelzebub due to their unquestionable loyalty towards him and Lucifer which both help him run Hell as well as to keep an eye on the less trustworthy high-ranking demons (aka any non-member).
Lastly, while Bee represents Gluttony in the show, the Beelzebub of real life demonology has sometimes been given Envy and Pride as Deadly Sins to represent, as well.
As for Beelzebub's design from the series. It is, as I see it, a mixture of: Greek gods Hestia(goddess of Cooking), Dionysus(god of winemaking and parties) and Artemis(goddess of animals). Cerberus the Guardian of Gluttony from Dante's Divine Comedy. Kitsune the Nine-Tailed Fox Youkai from Japanese mythology. Fairies from Celtic mythology and English folklore. And Beelzebub from Philistine mythology and Judeo-Christian theology.
Bee is such an interesting character. Half the fandom loves her and half the fandom vilifies her.
I think she’s genuine in her desires to create a Heaven-like environment for Hell’s denizens, or at least the ones at her parties. But I think she’s doing it for her own selfish reasons, and she may be going about it the wrong way.
As for how good of a ruler she is, well, all kings have fancy castles and big balls. We haven’t seen the rest of Gluttony yet. She seems a little too shallow and distracted for the job, but that might just be Party Mode.
She owns the pound Blitzø adopted Loona from, according to the stamp signature on the papers in one of his pictures from the end of last episode. That might be one source of Loona’s discomfort with her.
Personal theory; much like her Biblical counterpart, she’s a fallen Angel. She smiles wistfully reaching for the light she conjures during her song, and she has the power of Creation (but not hard drugs) which we’ve only seen from Lucifer in this universe.
Tex is a cool dude but how he managed to land a Sin is beyond me. The Queen bee of gluttony is so much fun and Cotton Candy slaps
Blitz is a father to Luna, and all his wants is for her to a great family.
In Spring Broken, Verosika mentioned that Blitz has a sister, and she is in one of those pictures in episode 7
I thought the singer sounded familiar she’s voiced by ke$ha 😅 also using the puppy dog eyes as a hellhound isn’t fair 😂
"Bee" is short for Beelzebub, one of the Seven Deadly Sings. You know how in the last episode, Asmodeus was described as the embodiment of lust? Well, Bee is the embodiment of gluttony.

4 out of 7 deadly sins seen in the Hellaverse, and only 1 is unlikeable. All that's left are Leviathan, Satan, and Belphegor. I can see 2 of them being likeable

Bee being aware of her party's vibe also means she noticed Blitz'. And she's not saying he's not welcome here... If he was there for the "right" reasons. If he came to her for indulgence for indlugence's sake he'd be one in a milion to her. But she immediately noticed in their drinking game that he's here to drink to forget. He's self-destructing. And while Gluttony is about consuming, if you consume too much you break and die, and she can't have that because that'd mean you won't come back to make more honey for her.
So in a way while Beelzebub here is a party queen, her parties are probably the tamest in all of hell, because she will actually take care of you and keep you from going past your limits. Because if you do, she loses just as much if not more as you.

It's interesting to me that Asmodeus is in a relationship with Fizz, but has to keep it a secret, but Bee, another of the seven deadly sins, is in a relationship with Tex (a hellhound, so even lower on the social ladder than imps) but doesn't hide it at all. I wonder why?
I know Ozzie is the Lust king, so it would theoretically out him as a hypocrite, but then Stolas was also embarrassed to be outed for being with Blitzo, so it implies the class divide is still frowned upon either way. So why is Bee not concerned about her public perception in the same way?
I think that love with the lower classes is forbidden and condemned exclusively by the Ars Goetia family. Sins, on the other hand, can meet with demons, Hellhounds, and others, but many, especially since it is obvious in Hell, do not take this love and feelings seriously, and besides, Sins, like other Higher demons, are immortal, and can live eternity, while all HellBorn Mortals can die of old age. That is, many consider and regard this as just use for fun. Well, in the case of Asmodeus, then yes, he is the embodiment of lust itself, who himself opposed and said that he hates love, but at the same time fell in love with Fizzaroli, that is, in fact, he gave up his views and the whole idea of Sins, it is as if Mammon began to give money to the poor or to charity, or Beelzebub went on a diet and began to eat healthy food.

I have to agree with you there with Helluva Boss, it’s not like my favourite to watch, but i still liked and it’s good, I think with Hazbin Hotel it has more of the musical aspects that I like and also the characters in that show are SO GOOD it’s hard to compete with this one, i do like stories that have the emotional side to it, which Hazbin Hotel does Deliver.

Fun tibit, the Imp that recognized Blitz is a Trans man. Imps born male have wide white stripes on their horns, like Blitz, Moxie, and Millie's sister Sally Mae (She's Trans fem), while Imps born female have the pencil thin stripes like Millie and her mom.
And the whole thing about Bee and Gluttony are explained in her song; "I'm what you want, not what you need."
Regarding the family in the picture, we'd seen a Poster on the wall talking about Blitzo and Barbie Wire when they were circus folk. The older woman in the picture has not been positively identified, as far as I know, but there are theories, primarily based off the picture itself.

At first that and then Luna proceeded to he an ass to Bee for no reason. Like she was really nice to her, sorta like a big sis but she was just an asshole the entire episode.
