Am I a witch? do I fly around on broomsticks
wearing a pointy hat and count the days as lunar phases go by
Am I a witch? am I seduced by the illusions,
phantasms of demons, talking to cats with which I ride
Am I worshipping the devil
in the dead of night
Does it scare you, that I know my power
Is it that I'm a witch, or a woman?
Am I asleep? Being held captive by Satan himself
and to what do I owe the honor of his attention,
when he is so busy?
And am I weak? without the wand and magic,
the way you'd like to have it
in a world where we lock up the apple trees
and no one eats
Am I in the the throes of evil
cursing all I find
or are you just afraid of power
of a woman in her witching hour
