In terms of the defense upgrades, I haven't done Legend yet, but in my experience I just feel like the Turrets do absolutely nothing. Unless I was just playing during a weird time after the update where things weren't working. Matter of fact, all the defense upgrades do nothing. I've seen Turrets shooting at walls, Tripwires not going off, and enemies walking right passed the Decoy. (and yes, they were actually bought and/or fully upgraded)
Bro I was using rocket like primary in 40~ round and those thicc ogres just take way too much to take down. And I was saving scraps so there are literally 3 top tier turrets and a shacc, still no enough to take them down.

easy did it with all titans suspending everything I would focus on champions since I had wishkeep bow side arm special and rocket overload. room full of tormentors strand titan suspends them .
I’m confused what do you mean you don’t have to deal with overloads on Vostok I don’t think I ever noticed that does the fallen just only spawn barriers on it and not overloads???

If you don't get the decoys at least 1 rank tormentors will be a problem since they ignore the machine guns.

Izanagi's burden destroys them, or maybe linears
tether or titan melee handles them
leviathans breathe stunlockes them, also div makes it way easier to kill
Legendary is impossible for normal players quit saying that it easy normal is hard enough
