NCS Downfall needs to be studied. I mean, what they have been releasing since 2020 more or less is somehow similar to their previous songs (in exception of those which sound hiphop, trap or even phonk inspired, obviously), but I still wonder what the reason for the decrease in views is. It made me nostalgic to remember these songs as soundtracks in videos like random things tops or those of football respect, goals or skill moves compilations back in 2014-2019, those years were absolute peak. :' )
The new gen has terrible music taste, the trends, the multiple versions of phonk, AI stuff... That's bad because NCS songs are made for a free use, so it should've interested some young content creators to use these for videos, lives... These songs are so great that i listen to them without using them

I find it quite neat to see the change of music over time within NCS. It also sucks to see the views decrease over time, but it is a natural occurrence within channels for a trend of increasing views to a lower amount over the years.

It's so sad seeing how modern ncs has lost it's touch, both in terms of views and quality, if we look back over the years, we can see that after 2017, something went horrible wrong, The most viewed song of each year constantly went down, maybe ncs will have a comeback one day, ANyways, the highlights of 2024 for me were Faster by Tobu and Nostalgia by Janji and Johnning.
I think that one of the factors that caused the downhill of NCS was the fact that they didn't expanded, with this i mean doing more things such as game collaborations, big concerts, more adversiting, etc, (Although more or less half of the songs of 2023 until 2024 didn't helped much to the situation lol) other problem that contributes to the first problem, is that it seems they trusted that NCS would keep blowing up views during the years with the same fucking way to do the things (Upload and expect to blow up the views model) when things change and NCS didn't other things to keep the numbers high, and no, it is not fault of not bringing to OG artists back or whatever fact, in first place, bringing back OG artists no longer works (Except Nostalgia by Janji) i mean look at NCS13, Tobu and Unknown Brain are there and they didn't made it to the 1M of views, lack of adversiting of NCS13 didn't helped too. (And i've noticed that after the removal of Alan Walker and Tobu songs the views on newer songs decreased even more lol) so NCS needs to change their way to do the things or they'll be doomed to close befoee the decade ends. Note: Ik lotsa pepole wants Alan Walker and Tobu songs back to NCS, but with Alan Walker it was because of Sony if you didn't knew, after Alan Walker releases on NCS he singed a exclusivity contract with Sony, which legally talking, didn't allowed Alan to renew the contract with NCS, with Tobu it was more of a fight because of some things with the contract, so with Tobu there's still a chance, but i doubt he'll talk with NCS about it bruh.

As they say, you can't just achieve success in order to maintain success, you have to keep innovating and improving in order to retain your popularity. NCS didn't do that, and as far as 2024 goes, the stats are showing this.

I don't know how to feel about NCS. They've released so many iconic tracks that i love but post their 10 year anniversary not so much. I find it really sad that their views are down by literally 99% (for most viewed each year) & their removal of so many songs from the artists having to do so much stupid licensing things instead of letting their music be creative commons / letting go of tight ownership doesn't make me feel good. I get so angry at people just liking NCS for nostalgia & hate seeing NCS themself playing into it, something needs to change with NCS or it's gonna have a sad slow death with it's dying cries of 'remember us guys! from 2015 youtube tutorials?' being the last of it's reputation.

Thanks a lot, really appreciate it I knew this video would do well but not *_this_* well lol, like it's actually crazy, and it's growing faster than ever, 20K views in the last 24 hours and peaked at 700~ in one hour, this video led me to gain record views, watch hours AND subs in a day which is mental, and also somehow have more likes and comments than "NIVIRO - Riot" which was uploaded the same day as this, I could go on and on about this but I don't want to yap too much lol I still can't believe how well this video did, I feel like I don't really deserve it for such a simple concept and that it didn't take a lot of time to make (managed to finish this over the span of 3 days), but I guess my dreams sort of came true here, hope things go even better after I return eventually

2020 was a bad year for views count even though there are some really good songs in that year. You'll notice a severe drop in views from 2018 - 2019 as well.

I find it quite neat to see the change of music over time within NCS. It also sucks to see the views decrease over time, but it is a natural occurrence within channels for a trend of increasing views to a lower amount over the years.

Ncs 2014 to 2018 is legend
It's so sad seeing how modern ncs has lost it's touch, both in terms of views and quality,
if we look back over the years, we can see that after 2017, something went horrible wrong,
The most viewed song of each year constantly went down, maybe ncs will have a comeback one day,
ANyways, the highlights of 2024 for me were Faster by Tobu and Nostalgia by Janji and Johnning.
I think that one of the factors that caused the downhill of NCS was the fact that they didn't expanded, with this i mean doing more things such as game collaborations, big concerts, more adversiting, etc, (Although more or less half of the songs of 2023 until 2024 didn't helped much to the situation lol) other problem that contributes to the first problem, is that it seems they trusted that NCS would keep blowing up views during the years with the same fucking way to do the things (Upload and expect to blow up the views model) when things change and NCS didn't other things to keep the numbers high, and no, it is not fault of not bringing to OG artists back or whatever fact, in first place, bringing back OG artists no longer works (Except Nostalgia by Janji) i mean look at NCS13, Tobu and Unknown Brain are there and they didn't made it to the 1M of views, lack of adversiting of NCS13 didn't helped too. (And i've noticed that after the removal of Alan Walker and Tobu songs the views on newer songs decreased even more lol) so NCS needs to change their way to do the things or they'll be doomed to close befoee the decade ends.
Note: Ik lotsa pepole wants Alan Walker and Tobu songs back to NCS, but with Alan Walker it was because of Sony if you didn't knew, after Alan Walker releases on NCS he singed a exclusivity contract with Sony, which legally talking, didn't allowed Alan to renew the contract with NCS, with Tobu it was more of a fight because of some things with the contract, so with Tobu there's still a chance, but i doubt he'll talk with NCS about it bruh.

As they say, you can't just achieve success in order to maintain success, you have to keep innovating and improving in order to retain your popularity. NCS didn't do that, and as far as 2024 goes, the stats are showing this.

Best ages for NCS 2013-2015
I don't know how to feel about NCS. They've released so many iconic tracks that i love but post their 10 year anniversary not so much. I find it really sad that their views are down by literally 99% (for most viewed each year) & their removal of so many songs from the artists having to do so much stupid licensing things instead of letting their music be creative commons / letting go of tight ownership doesn't make me feel good. I get so angry at people just liking NCS for nostalgia & hate seeing NCS themself playing into it, something needs to change with NCS or it's gonna have a sad slow death with it's dying cries of 'remember us guys! from 2015 youtube tutorials?' being the last of it's reputation.

I knew this video would do well but not *_this_* well lol, like it's actually crazy, and it's growing faster than ever, 20K views in the last 24 hours and peaked at 700~ in one hour, this video led me to gain record views, watch hours AND subs in a day which is mental, and also somehow have more likes and comments than "NIVIRO - Riot" which was uploaded the same day as this, I could go on and on about this but I don't want to yap too much lol
I still can't believe how well this video did, I feel like I don't really deserve it for such a simple concept and that it didn't take a lot of time to make (managed to finish this over the span of 3 days), but I guess my dreams sort of came true here, hope things go even better after I return eventually

2020 was a bad year for views count even though there are some really good songs in that year. You'll notice a severe drop in views from 2018 - 2019 as well.
The 2018 and 2019 views were fine to me, just don't ask about the 2022 to 2024...

2020: En mi opinion de los mejores años de NCS, canciones muy buenas e increibles casi no hubieron canciones malas y si las hubieron fueron pocas, eso si tambien nos trajieron algunas canciones sobrevaloradas, aqui comienza la nueva era de NCS
