I sent in a bunch of DPt shinings to PSA a month ago. Noticed a lot of them have been getting 9s and 10s lately. Congrats on those 10s. Fingers crossed mine grade well lol

One thing I might suggest for future videos is to film your reaction opening the PSA returns, so we get your initial reactions. It's a better experience for the viewer, because you already know what grades are coming. It's interesting hearing you talk about Kim's experience working in events. I've worked in events for the last 8 years and during covid, we have to transition to utilising online audiences, but we've now fully resumed in-person events.
for sure man, unfortunately for me i need to list the items and sell them quite fast, and when you get thousands back at once its a big game of toss and turning to do it all. But ill do my best to have some REACTIONS for future ones for sure =]
i choose my price based on how much it cost me and how hard it is to get again. Sometimes i check lowest list price and base around that, but usually i am not in a rush to sell things.
A lot of nice cards, I sent some cards myself not too long ago and I got very unlucky. I had many cards get very low grades and some cards that had way more damage get higher grades I don't understand but whatever
Sequential does my head in. I got 1k and 1k is market value for these 2 cards. Some twat asks 1.2k as 'its sequential bro'. I would go to other tables by both for the 1k then go back and put my 2 fingers up to him with unsold cards 😂 Omg these are literally the people who you say bring you down in the later part. Oh yeah I have those but mine are sequential so like better. Nope.
collecting is just like that. It's always subjective to each but then if you don't care about sequential, they will call you a casual collector lol. Collecting can be toxic
Simply put i think he explains it well. May not be worth more but might be easier to sell and for the same price. Since a lot of cards sit and don't have exact values like a stock market, if you have them up for sale at the lowest price versus a non sequential set, the sequential obviously sells first. This will also depend on what the person is intending to do with it. Obviously the cards and condition come first but if you can get them for the same price as others then why not. It's a nice touch I'd say. Just an added bonus but no extra credit lol

Grading your own cards is definitely awesome. Grading extras to flip can help grow the collection budget too.

How do you choose prices for slabs? From sold ebay listings, lowest listed, etc? Is there a way to calculate an average price?
