Burton Riglet Reel fix

How to fix the Burton Riglet Reel if the plastic plate pops off and unwinds. Frustrating little device yet completely critical for kid fun on the slopes. Don’t get me wrong this invention is brilliant but if it brakes it really sucks! Like us it if it helps !

Fyi one washer on the bottom side before you insert the reel and one washer on the top side before you put the big black cover with that plastic tail looking thing that becomes the bottom part of the reel

Thank you! My son got his hands on this when I wasn’t looking and I thought for sure we had lost a spring. I spent a good amount of time crawling on the ground looking for it! 🤦🏻‍♀️. Was so disappointed.

plus one, this thing was poorly designed - if you're lucky - you can get it out of the box without this problem, we were not :) thank you
