I initially installed the VX1 ([10.Oct.2017) version. Now there is a 09.Apr.2018 release and I want to install that. Question: Do I have to do the wipe step at 1:17? Can I just install over the top and maintain apps and settings? I already tried doing this without doing the wipe but it didn't work and just rebooted.

Thank you verry much, it works faster than the stock rom on my device! The latest version of that rom doesn´t include a Kernel, so I did an advanced wipe on boot and cach and then a factory reset. After that I installed the kernel which I will link you under my comment and then flashed the rom like in the video. In addition to that the latest version of twrp crashed as I tried to flash the rom, so I installed twrp 2.8.7.0 .

Berk Burada thank you for reaching me bruh! I fixed it in the end. Apparently, I guess, I hadn't wiped the phone in a proper way so I did a full reset wiping system, dalvik etc and it worked smooth ;) Thanks for the help and quick response! If I may ask, have you ever dealt with a blacklisted phone? Like IMEI not working and therefore impossible to use the GSM? Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

I was strssing at first as I was on the fence ... root n Rom 8 or not.. my note 3 n9005 is my main phone. But powered though it and it workes realy well.. some lag now and then and only feature in loosing out on is dual cammera mode but I can live with it... thanks for the video
Hay guys. Just an update after a month of using this rom . Everhthing works fine. No issues. Except I cant record videos. It just says "unable to record video". Cammera works prefect I'd not much better. I etried to download a 3rd party video recorder but it just gives the same issue Memory card has enough storage Changed storage to phone .... any suggestions?
it went well and then after i swipe to FLASH, it ran for a while and BOOM my screen went dark...! no buttons could be pressed, no charging sign, nothing.... until i removed and reinstalled the battery, then volUP+power+home, ran the same thing, and the same thing happened......PLEASE HELP =(

i have note 7 rom like this, in my note 3 sm-n9006. but ram management is not good, about 2gb ram is consumed without launching any apps. when running 1 or 2 app, its ok. but anything more than that, it starts to lag.

tried again, this time after the flashing, it rebooted my phone and i got stuck on the SAMSUNG screen until i removed the battery again =( still no Note 8 (T_T)

i have note 7 rom like this, in my note 3 sm-n9006. but ram management is not good, about 2gb ram is consumed without launching any apps. when running 1 or 2 app, its ok. but anything more than that, it starts to lag.
