i was lucky to make it through in the early hours of SB coming online. the rest of my FC were still waiting 6 or more hours after me before they were able to get through.
Really appreciate these XIV recap videos. These are such the perfect way to give everyone a trip down memory lane as we get closer to a new saga in Dawntrail. Despite being considered as the weakest expansion, I'm still grateful to Stormblood for 1) introducing us to Zenos who becomes a recurring character moving forward and 2) giving Lyse a proper character sendoff so she can do her own thing - something that they really should've started doing to some of the characters by the time Endwalker has concluded. Thanks for adding the Omega raids and placing it there after the WoL beats Zenos/Shinryu in the MSQ. Including the Fractal Continuum dungeon now is great since the Ultima Warrior gets referenced again later and Drawing a Blank is an easy to miss side quest that introduces us Black Rose and how important it is setting up the events in Shadowbringers.
I’m so glad it decided to watch this video instead of paying attention to Stormblood MSQ. This story sucked, and I would’ve been so mad if I spent 50 hours on it.
I'd like other players opinions. I'm a sprout that started playing around May 2024 and got to stormblood around the end of July. I only got to around 11:47 point of the story before I lost my patience with how slow the story became and paid to skip the expansion. I've heard mixed opinions on storm blood, and was wondering at what point most people who dropped the expansion decided to skip it or thought was the most boring part

If not for Zenos chaotic-stupid nature I’m not sure they would have won. Not bad writing but kinda annoying and doesn’t feel earned at the end.
This game is so f'ing boring, tried to get through it three times and failed. One of the worst MMOs I've ever played, hands down.
