This is the guy that got me seriously into car audio. Literally spent hours on the phone with me, finding what I actually wanted VS needed, taught me I didn’t need the most EXPENSIVE stuff in the world to have my vehicle sound good. Taught me about the art of INSTALL and processing making the difference. Such a knowledgeable and down to earth guy.
Talked with Chris, many times and I am currently Running an Audison FORZA AF M5.11 DSP Amp and a (bridged) Audison AP F8.9 Amp, powering a Front 3-way Thesis set (Violino, Voce & Sax) and another set of Violino Tweeters, along with a pair 2-ohm Focal Utopia Woofers in the Rear, along with a custom mounted Audison Prima 8" sub in the very rear...! That is 11-Channels total AND THEY SOUND AWESOME...!
Chris did my last install a few years ago. More so fixed an install a dealer in San Antonio messed up with my 8.9. Love his work and can't wait to beg and plead with him to come to VA to do my next.
GREAT VIDEO...! I spoke with Chris last week and have a AF M5.11 on order, I plan to use my AP F8.9 as the "Companion" amp, powering my Thesis components...!
ı was preparing my self to buy alpine system. My plan was rs 65c.2 comps front doors pdx v9 5 channle amp and type r 10 '' sub for my SUV but now ım waiting this new AF series.. Thinking about prima series front comps + sub... thanks for the video...
Just finished installing my Forza 5.11 Bit not fully tuned just yet but finding all the options available and regarding your question I am using an Audison 6.600 Amp and you can configure it in many ways as needed including surround sound. I haven’t tried that option but I’ll tell you the way I’m setting my amps I am finding from great sound to all kinds of options that I can tell it was worth the investment and effort installing these amps. I am running a 3 way system at front with 9 inch morel mid bas drivers, they do sound great and I’m only testing that the wiring is correct!
Jeez, finally a video about it this amp. Literally no videos about it. I bought this amp last week and paired it with Hertz MPK 163.3 and MCX 165.3 for the rear and 2 kicker 12TW1-4s in a ported box for my F150. Pick up the truck tomorrow. Can’t wait to hear it. I’ll be posting about it since no one else has yet.
@@stevendphoto I like it quite a lot. It’s small form factor and good power output. It is a good combination. Im not looking to rattle my neighbors windows or shatter mine like when I was in my 20s, so admittedly it’s a bit underwhelming in the regard of hair standing bass, but in all it’s very nice and refined. The sound is very clear, the bass is there (with my particular setup at least) Nothing too crazy but loud and clear.
@@stevendphoto very nice. You know, one thing I was a little disappointed in was the fact that I cannot get the control knob yet. I actually would like to be able to turn down the bass a bit but until it becomes available I’ll just have to wait. 🤷🏻♂️
Funny this guy says it's his daily driver but didn't know what model kia it is,this guy is constantly searching for words this hole interview he's not a interview guy.
He was FINE. What you never gone for a walk in a new park and not mis stepped at least once on a rock or pebble. I hope to see him on again soon in the workshop :)

So many options for setup. Blew my mind (AND my budget I'd recon :P )
I have the first one in the uk waiting to go in!
How did you tune the DSP? Do you need a laptop?
Finished installing my 5.11 bit it’s also running 6 channels of DSP in to the Audison SR 6.600 both amps are rated for HiFi
So.... the controller is an Audison 'Conductor'
I need it. I need it NOW!
UPDATE: The AF M5.11 is here (USA) I got mine today.......!
I wish they had a 12 channel dsp amp that’s class AB instead of D.
The Audison D class runs just as clean, cool and efficient as AB.

I am curious if the preamp outputs are separate or linked? I.E. can you set it up as a mono center and mono sub, or is it left and right?
They are separate

hello dean how you doing i got a audison dsp from ebay, but it doesn't have power cable can you tell what i need to power up the dsp
Is a college corse included with the Audison? lol
closed acrylic baffles? I want to see what these acrylic baffles look like..>Does anyone know what he means?
They are not closed, he just means they are made out of stacks of acrylic cut on a laser instead of wood or plastic.
@@FiveStarCarStereoInc OK Cool! I was starting to feel I missed out on something! Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Hello …planing to buy Audison DSP amp for Voce AV k6 …which amp out of APF 8.9 and Froza C 8.14 will be better choice.
Audison is cool but the real big dog is helix/brax 💪
Can the audison TH quattro amplifier be integrated with the AF M5.18 Bit instead of a AF amplifier?
It can. The outputs of the DSP can be routed to any amplifier.
will the store be carrying this amplifier?
Ketchup on steak? 😀🙃What about bubble bath in my suite?
😍😍🤩🤩
Funny this guy says it's his daily driver but didn't know what model kia it is,this guy is constantly searching for words this hole interview he's not a interview guy.
He probably rehearsed a script many times and merely flubbed. Once he got past the initial sentence, it went pretty smooth...
He took to logos off the car and had Forza logos made for it.
He did great, cut people slack! hole interview?
He was FINE. What you never gone for a walk in a new park and not mis stepped at least once on a rock or pebble. I hope to see him on again soon in the workshop :)
Maybe Audison supplied the car to him and he doesn't care what model it is(?)
