  • This is the ninth installment in my build series of the BB-63 USS Missouri - "Mighty Mo". In this installment I am building the catapults and crane that goes on the stern deck.
The build is based on the 1/350 scale Hobbyboss 86516 kit with detail up sets from Pontos.

    Dear Kenneth,
Your PE bending tool looks most precise- much more so than the rather “heath robinson” device I have! I may get one of these at some stage.
    Once again, excellent painstaking work!
    Regards,
    Z

Every episode gives me flashbacks to my build! It’s like they just scaled the ship up or down.. I don’t know which exactly 😂

Good flashbacks I hope 😉 I am pretty sure that it is scaled down Ben 😂 Are you guys back from your holiday?

Kenneth, The crane is an absolutely beautiful piece of work, as are the catapults. I have seen other builds of PE battleship cranes, and yours is one of the best, if not the best, one that I have seen. Very, very nice!
