The one thing I can't quite figure out. The rear seat cowl does not go on as easy as I expected. is the metal tab part that it hooks onto in the back supposed to be bent a bit, or am I just stupid? the stupid part is probably it.

What does "Lock" do?
That is a helmet lock it locks your helmet on to the bike so you do not have to carry it into stores and such

Why is the check engine light flashing? I know they turn on when you start a vehicle but flashing seems odd
Coz its brand new. Its not yet registered in kawasaki system. Once it's registered, you can avail the warranty from the kawasaki.
