It's not weird. It's such a powerful song about departure, realizing that there's nothing left but memories, and that you have to go separate ways. It's recorded right after Frida's and Benny's divorce, and Frida's delivery is so powerful and heartbreaking at the same time. In Voyage, the beginning is acapella and there's an extra verse with Frida belting out her sorrow and pain - it's definitely onw of the emotional highlights of the show. Yes, I understand your tears.

They did try to keep up with the Jones's by recording I am the City, Should I laugh or Cry, The Day before you came, Cassandra, Under Attack and a few others but those songs didn't fit in with what was on the radio in 1982 and 83. The new popular music had passed them by. Duran,Duran, Paul Young, Lionel Ritchie, Pat Benatar, The Police, U2, Boy George, Wham etc, etc.
