You didn't really think Gottschalk would stop after the success of just one "The Banjo," did you? In fact, he had already composed this elaborate "alternate version" three years prior to its release, apparently planning on having it published at a later date. Hopefully, the ossia staves don't horribly break how the score displays; there's already one barline I'm aware of that's going to display wrong, but other than that, everything should appear as it did in the original.
