Pegasus motivation was to acquire kaiba corp, he held a tournament cause he was asked to by kaiba corp big 5... Yugi happened to have the puzzle and it was a chance too but it was not his main motivation
Hisoka is basically DIO and Orochimaru fusion.

Nah fr, I was so damn confused when I re-watched Naruto after not seeing it after awhile
Long story short:
Kishi wanted Haku to be a bear because he was obsessed with making people animals for some reason.
Assistants vetoed it immediately, and one of them (that assistant is actually the artist of Boruto now) redraw Haku as a a girl, but Kishimoto didn’t want Haku and Zabuza’s relationship to be misconstrued as sexual so he made the decision for Haku to be a boy but kept the design the same.
Thus was born the ultimate trap.
(Seriously, though, imagine if Haku was actually a girl. “I didn’t want to mar your perfect body, Zabuza.”
