I previously did a video where I built a platform for my son's new bed. I also said I'd be doing a PVC one for myself. To see how I do this, stay tuned.
    PARTS LIST:
    ● 6x 40" long, 3" PVC pipe
    ● 4x 3" PVC elbow
    ● 2x 3" PVC coupler
    ● 6x 4" drainage tee (lot less expensive - $5)
    ● 12x 3/4" x 2-1/2" x 44" wooden slats

I have a question. I am thinking of making a pvc bed frame. I'm trying to decide using pvc general grade 1" 80 which has higher strength or furniture grade 1". It's going be made for indoor. So, I don't think I need the furniture grade and the 1" 80 rated pvc would be stronger. I already created the diagram. The width would be about 80". The supports with be at each end and in the middle. I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Weight wise, it needs to support 300 lbs. How stable is the pvc you used? Do you think the 1" but with stronger strength is sufficient.

I don't have a table saw so, I would have to hand saw.

Hmmm?? I'm not familiar with schedule 80, but 1" sounds kinda skinny. Even the diameter I used would bend if I didn't support it in the middle. A proportional example woud be attempting to bend a 1/2" stick of wood, then comparing that to bending a 2" stick of wood. I think it would be kinda similar.

A handsaw should be fine, because none of the ends will be exposed because they're all covered by the joints.

If I jump around I can make it collapse, otherwise, pretty stable
