The devs made a game about mining and survivablity more about fighting and having fun nothing else. And you said the game is "EMPTY" so by that logic adding pvp makes it less empty as hypixel is pvp and events based sever right? So what about building,surving,farming,going to a different dimension,fighting dragons, starting your own town, brewing potions, getting achievements and most importantly mining? Does that all that makes the game empty?
4. Minecrafts latest updates allows us to create an entirely new kingdom in dimension where only lava existed, the latest upadtes also allowed us to connect things wirelessly meaning we could create automatic lifts and launchers and many more. The lastest upadtes allows us to explore the caves more vividly as mining is very time consuming. So again for someone who has played 200 plus hours of MC you seem to lack immense knowlegde of things.

Why Terraria is better:
-More enemies
-More bosses
-Doesn't get old after 2 years
-Doesn't have a cancerous community made up of entirely little children or weirdos
-More items
-Cool looking 2D vibe with more colors
-Challenging at all stages
-Restricted areas that need to be unlocked in certain ways including the dungeons
-Did I mention dungeons? The dungeons are so damn large and cool unlike Minecraft counterparts.
-Don't need to eat food every 10 seconds
-Don't need to grind more materials just to keep remaking a pickaxe or any tool every 10 minutes because it keeps breaking.
-Did I mention more bosses?
-Has a giant loot table
-Some items are rare and make you want to keep playing to get them eventually

-GUNS
-SUMMONING

for those who dont play terraria, the last prism is an absurdly powerful post/moonlord weapon that does thousands of damage per second, but drains your mana like hell. it shoots 6 lasers which after a few seconds, converge into one super powerful laser which does said thousands of damage per second, also it has infinite pierce.

In the end, it's all about preference.
If you want a thrilling survival game that is both fun, rewarding
and challenging, go for Terraria.
If you want something more relaxing, 3D and with limitless possibilities for creativity, go for Minecraft.

Terraria has much better combat, but Minecraft allows for more creative freedom. I love both games, but in the end I prefer Terraria.

Used fire potions, then use water bucket to turn your armor into obsidian, fragments of the sun makes no difference to lava though except with only astronomical temperature, in Minecraft fire potions are immune like in Terraria have obsidian skin potions, water sources has infinite water

IMO Terraria is the Best Survival crafting game currently. my main issue with Minecraft is its Artificial Depth/Length. the bulk of the game is spent getting resources for a very limited selection of tools, weapons and gear only for those items to break down and the cycle to be repeated. Terraria has a lot more content not just in aforementioned tools/weapons/gear but in enemies and bosses as well. i have a lot of respect for Minecraft as it paved the way for many survival crafting games including Terraria. however its very antiquated and surpassed by terraria in a lot of ways except for 3D graphics. i have a lot of hope for Hytale as i see it being a hybrid of Terraria and Minecraft.

I've actually cleared out a whole world of ~4200 by 1000 blocks, underwhich Obsidian, which is your strongest block. I think it's safe to say I can blast through your 3 block thick Stone Brick wall.

- Our 'Eyeballs' are as strong, if not stronger, than your zombies.
- Our 'Clowns' are normal enemies, kinda unfair comparing them to your end boss, ain't it? With that, they're about as much, if not more so, a threat than your Enderdragon.
- We have 'Enchantments' too, although they're called Prefixes, or as some like to call them 'reforges'. You might not be able to get them on your armor, but you can get them on your accessories, which is kinda the same concept, isn't it?

Let me remind you of the fact that you guys have '/gamerule keepInverntory', which is the same principle, except extremer, since you keep everything, while we still loose half our money, which is quite a big part of Terraria. With that, we have Mediumcore Characters, which to loose their item.

I don't know what CDI means in this context, and it's an opinion, there for I won't comment on it. I'll keep this open for potential future updates.

@@theonemanarmy2473 Its not just about tho. The redstone is incredibly intricate. The infinite world gen is also a given, but modding is not something that I believe can be beat. But, I dont think you can compare them both as much, because terarria is a game about beating the most bosses, and conquest. It wins on that aspect, while minecraft is both a phenomenon, and anything you want it to be, but that depends on your preference.
Minecraft is better for building, creativity, and the survival aspect. Terraria is better for action, boss battles, and variety of weapons and tools and stuff.
So fan boys, stop arguing over which game is better and chill the fuck out.

It is true,Minecraft weapons are weaker(a lot) BECAUSE the enemies are weaker. Terraria weapons are stronger BECAUSE,lol, the enemies are stronger.That makes it pretty much the same difficulty to kill mobs.
Terraria has more bosses because it is actually easier to fight (you cant miss with a projectile unless you miss the height) and you have WINGS(cmon). It is MUCH easier to mine ores becuz you see everything around you on the screen.Minecraft is the opposite.Weapons and tools cant break(Terraria) but in Minecraft they can. Terraria:tons of items and accesories that help you A LOT,tons of ores, weapons,tools and i dunno.Minecraft has like 350 items and only like 2 accesories.
TERRARIA: A survival game with a lot of items and heavily focused on combat.

1. The difficulty is not the same, like, at all. Terraria has a much higher skill ceiling. Tell which is harder, a zombie WALKING at you dead on dealing like 1 heart of damage per hit. Or a big ass flower shooting bouning spiky balls at you and homing seedlings dealing a quarter of your health.
2. Terraria's bosses are on par and even harder than Minecraft's. Sure it's harder to hit Minecraft's flying mobs in a 3D environment but that's really the only difficult part, and it's even negated because they have much less hp. Terraria's bosses have clever attacks and AI rather than just charging you head on, they dodge around your attacks, they summon minions to soak some damage, they use attacks that require specific counters.
3.Terraria's mining system isn't necessarily easier. You have more enemies attacking you and dealing lots of damage (In the case of expert mode) You have to mine A LOT more to make tools weapons and armor, which is why they don't break. (Like seriously 80 Platinum bars at 4 ore a piece vs. 24 irons bars at 1 ore per ingot for a full set of their respective armor.
4. Yes I agree, Terraria blows Minecraft out of the water for customization, and basically in every category besides arguably building.

Edit: all jokes aside this was a great video and i think both games deserve to be treated equally
sad that minecraft players all say terraria is '_just_' a 2D ripoff of Minecraft, even though it came out in the same year as Minecraft and you couldn't possibly develop that high quality a game in such little time.

i prefer terraria because it has way more things to do but yeah both games are great
