Hey, as a masc NB who really wants to do the whole androgyny thing, could you do a makeup tutorial? I’ve been wanting to get into make up to round out and soften some of my masc features but it’s super intimidating and I haven’t been able to get past the very basics of skincare. You seem super nice and like you’d be able to break it down in an approachable way.
Love those tips. Living in a conservative country would definitely make some of these difficult or outright dangerous to follow… But others are doable to do in public! Thank you ❤❤
Next, I think it would be great for either, like ,a fashion video or a natural enby makeup tutorial. You seem pretty knowledgeable when it comes to being androgynous and non-binary so it would be a great to see it. :) ( Because I'm Non-binary too,but don't know how to really do natural/androgynous makeup, and I can't complete my look really cause its hard to find things that look good together without it looking gender conforming lol.
I'm a very binary trans guy personally, no desire for any level of androgyny tbh, but my partner's NB. I'm too nervous to ask them personally for fear of it sounding offensive, but any tips for the best way to support them? Obviously I use their name and pronouns but I'm just wondering what kind of things can be affirming for NB people (without being over the top) Ik everyone's different but I figure there's probably some common trends at least
If they prefer to look androgynous, it's affirming to hear "I can't tell if you look like a boy of a girl." at least for me. :) sorry it's not the best but hope I could help!
@@smol_pluto Thanks, I appreciate it :) I honestly don't know if they're more masc, more fem, or more androgynous, because we only talk online. But if we're ever in person I'll try to keep it in mind if they present more neutral/both
Just try your best (without being rude obviously) to be honest with them. I, myself, am Non-binary and I know I find it reassuring when people say things that are positive about the way I dress or do my hair. (when I aim for androgony that is) Things like, " That outfit suits you perfectly" or ,because I am also Trans-masculine ,when I'm told I can "pass" in public, even though I just wear what I like, nothing gender conforming. Just stay positive and let them understand that you are being honest and let them know if you don't think they pass so ,if they feel they need to,that can look for other solutions. Also try complimenting them in a non-conforming way such as "Your whole aesthetic is just really nice to look at." Like they are visually pleasing. However, the most important thing is to validate them by saying that as long as they are happy with how they look ,that's all that really matters, and that it matters to you. Ciao for now!
I know it's been a minute since you made this, but I don't suppose you remember where you got your reference images from? That 60s eyeshadow is INCREDIBLE but I wanna zoom in and not have to keep pausing the video 😅
@@bonuscheesemilk sorry for such a late reply!! idk how I missed this comment 😅 I don’t remember exactly but I’m pretty certain that all the eyeshadow photos I included I found on Pinterest :)
