Thank you for speaking up. You were so respectful throughout but the pain is palpable. It's not easy for male abuse victims to come forward and the relationship was pure abuse. I've had PTSD from a similar relationship where the other would also threaten suicide whenever I tried to end things.

The reason this pod works so well is the differences between the three hosts, you have three people with three different perspectives due to their situations. If it was three sway boys or three Dave Portnoy's it would be stale. The perspectives and different knowledge brought to the table is what makes it flow so well.
I feel like this is an obvious take yet for some reason I never thought about that… so true.
I was thinking that Dave is the glue, but everyone plays an important role (shout out to Austin!) and keeps a specific part of their audience locked in. I also think the timing was perfect (with the nessa/josh/mads/jaden scandal bringing a lot of attention to the pod), their guests selection is great, the dynamic is fun and ,very importantly, they are consistent.
Absolutely, also having age differences in the mix makes it even better.
Also obsession with celebrities & Drama have been 2 of the easiest way to garner eyeballs since the beginning of time. Pairing them together is like stealing candy from a baby.. especially when a lot of the consumers are just babies theirselves lol
Josh Dave & the Barstool universe gave them more leeway to keep posting episodes even if it wasn’t bringing in $ yet while having the crazy following #s that it came with a built in fandom & cris cross where it could spread all over the map. Not just influencer crypto acting etc
The amount of episodes they’ve been able to do building their rapport / quality & consistency + adding a rockstar that became Bri made it a top notch legit machine that they can carry on earning $ getting guest & not requiring much home work or time.

I mean Trish was on drugs the entire relationship and that’s not an excuse, but drugs make their own personality within a person. Also they broke up forever ago, idk why anyone bothers talking about it anymore outside of Jason.

Trisha physically, mentally and emotionally abused Jason. Not saying he’s perfect but by all accounts he seems like a pretty good person and father. But that didn’t stop Trisha from driving her car into his home where his children slept.

There was a lot of fucked up shit that went down but he made SURE to include the full picture instead of just Villainizing trish (which she deserves) idk I just appreciated him talking about her good qualities too because it’s very showing of Jason’s character

it was revealed from his ex-girlfriend (not trisha) that he has PTSD from the abuse from Trisha. She stalked him afterwards too. vile behavior - and it's not easy for male abuse victims to come forward.

as someone who used to actively watch the vlogs with jason and trisha i can definitely say jason was no saint in their relationship but yeah when trish was mad which she was often she’d try her best to make sure jason hurt in any type of way she could physically and emotionally she was an abuser
You’re still victim blaming. I remember people used to tear Jason up for being miserable on her Disney vacations. They’d comment “but he’s a grown man, he should have said no, if he didn’t want to”. But over the last two years we have gotten confirmation that 1) She insisted on these vacations to separate him from friends and family 2) She used threats of suicide and even violence to manipulate him and 3) We were watching HIS cry for help all along.

I love this trio, Josh brings in a younger male and female population (16-19), while Breanna brings in a slightly older (20’s) female population and I am sure some male, while the older generations follow Dave. Their almost total transparency and bluntness just makes it work.

You seen my other reply so I'm not going to break it down for you. It's just COMMON SENSE is that you cannot drive your vehicle under the influence into a rental home without reprecussions from the homeowner and your car cannot be towed from an accident without police, which would be an arrest for multiple charges and she wouldn't be driving around in the same vehicle the next day. Driving your vehicle into someone's home is not something that is just covered up 😂
