I remember buying the "See You in Hell" tape when it was released and when I opened it a green blade of grass fell out of the case along with some hay, I've never forgotten that, I thought it was the weirdest thing when I was a kid
Remember Grim Reaper from CkY where Phil drives the lawnmower into the pit they covered in leaves…… bought their albums after that because they are deadly as hell.
Nick has some nice demos of different gear on Sweetwater did a cool one with the new Diezel mini head always connected him with Grim Reaper lots of cool tunes you ran through can't go wrong with some new wave of British heavy metal 🤘👍👏
Alright! It's the man, the myth, the legend: The Brewstmeister, back with some more killer chords from a killer band! Yes, pun totally intended. I would love to hang out, drink a beer, or two, and jam with you!
I loved Grim Reaper. I think they'd have been a lot bigger if they'd been a little prettier and the label hadn't screwed them. After Rock you to Hell got delayed it came out right about the time that metal success was based on how many chicks wanted to bang the band. What an awesome metal month. Thanks!
Believe it or not, but the lead singer Steve G still keeps reaper active and prior to covid he is was touring all around the world practically performing at every small bar.
Wish you would have done "The Show Must Go On" off of See You In Hell. Love that ballad! Some Lizzy Borden would be cool! Might need the ditto looper. :)
Dave. I’m not sure if you have done the chords of Django or solo style of Django. It would be great to see. Birelli Lagrene obviously is another Great. Cheers for all you do sir. 🙏
Could you do a Gotham City chordplay? Much more obscure than most bands you cover, but they use a LOT of interesting diad type chords that weren't too common.
If someone takes the advice of Beavis and Butthead, they're completely missing the entire point of why they're so funny. It's like taking the advice of the Three Stooges. Just, no dude. lols
I saw Grim Reaper live back in ‘81 - those were the days!
Grim Reaper RULES! Thanks for this!
I live about 30 miles west of Sweetwater in Warsaw, Indiana! What a cool place!
Wow thanks for sharing this! Love it!
Great story telling … great riffing !!!
Man, still have the See you in Hell vinyl...getting old.
I have ran into Nick a number of times. Great guy and a great underrated player
Nice Dave! tha reaper definetely a classic in history. Kudos for those backstage stories.
What a great lesson. Nick Bowcott’s riffs bring a lot of memories

Nick's a great player and very humble. Always enjoy his "stuff."
Some of the most unique 5 chord compositions. Really like the melodic movement. Great stuff!
Annihilator! Jeff Waters is underrated. Great for Metal Month!
Icon had some really interesting chords!
lizzy borden chordplay or the band Icon they have crazy different chords than most bands at the time.
Another vote for Lizzy! The Riff for Voyeur is bad ass! (to name one)
ICON was underrated!!
Another great October choice! Thanks, David!
Edit: WHOAH!!! Great chord work!!!! Brilliant stuff from Nick!

He seems cool as the back side of a pillow in those Sweetwater videos. Definitely not the stereotypical cocky guitar player .
I remember picking the first album up fromTower Record. I think they were on the Ebony Records label along with a bunch of other NWOBHM bands.

Fear No Evil is such a heavy riff.
I see the Goblin Halloween is close!

Dave did do a Django riffs video. I don't think he's done a chords one though, yet.
I second the suggestion though.
Have you ever looked into the DIO album lock up the wolves, there’s some cool chords/riffs on that album
Hmmm I wonder what's up with that Goblin Dawn of the Dead soundtrack!?
Chords of Goblin would rule! Excellent movie music!
16:11 the perfect Batman reference
Do Mayhem chords!

Ya left out "Lust For Freedom," off of Fear No Evil. What a shame.
