That keyboard solo is so beautiful, i listen to this song very often, loooove, this musicians, so crafty, like diamonds. A little sad when discovered the main genius past away... looks like a great dude, i almost feel the flavor of this sounds in my mouth...
What makes it stunning to me (since I bought the lp in 1970) ...the Hammond and the mellotron do the legato. The piano only the arpeggio...quick small notes or chords. That's gives the dancing effect, while it also stays classic (typical Bach) because of the legato. Do you grasp what I mean in my double Dutch..?
@yacht2007 this song is from the 3rd Ekseption Album called Ekseption song by Steve Allet the singer of Ekseption. Rick van der LInde keys Rein van den Broek Trumpets Dick Remelink Saxes CorDekker bass Peter de Leeuwe Drums Steve Allet Vocals
Morning Rose, did you sleep well last night? You look fine, your leaves woke up in time Another smell and I see, that you need a breakfast from me. By the way, I think I'll go away With the birds, Well, here's two for a rest I spoke to them, it's the best A way To travel fast through the sky You'll grow up now Rose, you won't die See, a blown man knows I don't cry It's the wind I think, got a cold and I'm too old Morning Rose, did you sleep well last night? You look fine, your leaves woke up in time. Another smell and I see, that you need a breakfast from me. You'll grow up now Rose, you won't die See, a blown man knows I don't cry It's the wind I think, By the way, I'll go away

А песенка то что надо... :)
Plattenspieler stand damals (1977) auf Auto-repeat, ich selbst - damals 12 Jahre alt - war absolut hingerissen ...
the intro is great
What's this? Where from? very obscure and Ekseptional recordings. Great!
Hoppá hoppá! :) Tudják a magyarok mi a jó!
