Hi Winifred, good to see you, great effort. Your videos are really inspiring and informative. Would you please share employability aspect of Nursing especially for sponsored jobs. Thanks!
I think it will help if that someone is looking at a career change and is motivated to study nursing. Some universities may accept a non science degree and in that case, a lot of background study in human anatomy will be needed make the transition easier and smooth. However, being a legal professional means there will be some transferable skills such as communication which is one of the 6c’s of nursing. Nursing is also backed by laws like mental capacity act, data protection etc. I’d say only transition if you’re absolutely sure and motivated to do so because the 2 year MSc is intense. I hope this helps
@winifredmorah thank you so much Winnie. I would like to know if it's necessary to have an ipad while on the msc pre registration nursing course?especially if your someone who likes to make hand written notes.
@mamsmireku8490 its not compulsory. Everyone learns differently. If you love handwriting, then stick to it. You can use highlighters to make important notes stand out. Do what works best for you. At the end of the day we have different learner types and learning methods. That's the spice.
I really wish I could go for this MSC. I'd even done my internship.. but it's so expensive ..Do you have an idea on scholarships for this programme or loans ..
Are you eligible to remain in the UK after completing this program? Does it qualify you to register with nursing boards in another country like USA and practice as a licensed nurse there?
If you get a sponsored job, then you will be eligible to remain in the UK after your study visa expires. you can also get a Post-study visa thay allows you work in the UK for two years. However, most people I know who study nursing get a sponsored job before they graduate due to the demand for nurses. I'll be making a video about this soonest
I will do an extensive video about this, that should come up this weekend. Please turn on your notifications. There are several universities that offer this course in the UK but with different requirements. E.g University of Plymouth.
Greetings! Are you currently a student offering Masters of nursing Pre registration? I need to follow someone with first hand experience and information. Thanks
If you are already in the uk and your visa expires before the course ends, can you apply for study permit with this course and can your dependants also be on board this visa ?
@ I don’t understand your question particularly where you said visa expires before course ends. Gov.uk has information about immigration and visa requirements for all visa categories including student visa.
