This series is so detailed and interesting right down to the individual officer, sailor, soldier. It helps to answer so many of the why’s compared to what most books or videos cover the timelines and what of WW2 history.
She has a wise Captain and excellent crew. I'm sure Hiryū will come out of this just fine.
As I said, thank you! I've only ever heard the American and Aussie perspective, so this is really interesting. I heard the American mistakes (torpedoes, Pearl Harbor) but now I hear the Japanese problems and shortcomings; lighter armor, poor training, Imperial stupidity, no rada.
