Haha - yeah you can kind of see me scratch my head on the third drill run, in my head I was thinking “man this is going to be really awkward” because I knew that wasn’t supposed to happen LOL. Looking forward to seeing you in Japan!
Those were some amazing battles by both yourself and Reis. Mad respect for the sportsmanship you showed Reis in that laggy match when you reflected on the outcome 💯 I wish you both the best of luck/skill for worlds!

Gotta say I'm really impressed with the sportsmanship. It really seems like the majority of high-level competitors in this community have a ton of integrity and that's awesome 💪
Had to drop a like for that Sky Attach knock out on the Lanturn. Great games man, thanks for the battles and the rationales behind your decisions. Good luck to you in Japan. I'll be rooting for you.
man that was one of the most intense fun performances ever, i usually watch a bit then just lose interest, i didn't only watch the HSH and HCB stream but i also watched this whole video, incredible performance man kudos, i'm always high or close to top on gbl leaderboard but never did show 6 before, i can honestly say your performance, plus wdage and housestark's made me think seriously about it, it was mesmerizing. thank you for it.
@@Reis2TheOccasion you so did man, and i gotta say i really felt ur emotions when mountain conceded, it felt so authentic and real, and i'll be rooting for u in worlds, best of luck!
Coming from a competitive MTG background and playing POGO because my kids love it your outlook for the finals is amazing. I love getting out meeting the community for POGO but the PVP aspect has me hooked. I started playing in Oct. 22 so I'm still trying to get PVP cores but have hit legend the last 3 seasons.
Congratulations!!!, we know that you will give your all in Japan; For me you are Ash from real life, I hope and wish that you become a champion, a true pokemon master, much success in your plans for the future
I've watched your videos for years, and I have a greater appreciation for your skills than I ever have after watching this. You rock! BTW - your new mic is SO much better. Good purchase. :)
Love these longer recaps and breakdowns. I hadn't seen any of the battles, but I knew the outcome from Reddit. Amazing run man, I think you played really clean overall (I was already thinking about your DB timing before you mentioned it 😂) Tbh I thought your into was actually pretty dope In the MountnDewgong match, no doubt that it should have been disputed. I know you gave the breakdown of how it would have played out, but I'm just curious; if you were in the other position, would you have just outright conceded or wanted a rematch?
Yes I mean 100% believe I would do the same thing, in a scenario where I know there was no win condition other than lag. However saying I'd do it is one thing, MtDewgong actually showed it with his actions.
Sarcastic Reis > Battler Reis < Sportsmanship Reis GGs reis, you deserved to win it, one turn is all that mattered at the end, good luck to the worlds 🙌
Hi Chris! Your videos are so inspiring! I'm italian, but I can understand very well everything you say, because you pay attention and you speak very clearly. Congratulations for your results throughout the season! Just a curiosity :) what is your shoe size?!
awsome matches bro match came down to a sliver of health u made the right call commiting to power whip, also called u would both lead ur zards, they were such beats for both of u.
Congrats on qualifying for worlds a second time this cycle Reis! Thank you for all you do for the community and for us less skilled battlers! I’ve learned a ton from you, JamieFromPalett, TrafDLaw, and lately from NerdsRising and HumanCatcherBug! I started ELO below 2000 this season fell all the way to 1700s and at the end of Single Cup (which I loved and thanks to HumanCatcherBug recommending me a line of Umb/Muk/shadow K9) I’m at 2564 and over 2500 the earliest I’ve ever been I miss your livestreams but I’ve really buckled down on improving my gameplay. Thanks again for the encouragement you and others have given me and now I’m gonna see how far I can go now that I’m nearing 2600
Great battles Chris! Watched it at the time on stream. Was gutted you didn't win, especially with it being so ridiculously close. Watching this back now for your commentary.. the thing I was wondering on day 1 - why did you have black tape on your arm? I'm guessing it was covering something?
Definitely keep shadow zard in the back and save shields was the play for both of you guys. That's what I seen from everything. Wish I could understand gbl like you guys. Masterminds! congratulations
Hey Reis why do they only do great league? Also this is very exciting to us viewers, I can get past ace lol but watching you put your all in, compassion, and study really makes me appreciate you. Congratulations
Good question! Great League is by far the most accessible league, there are many difficult to obtain mons for Ultra League and especially Master League where it would become a little bit more "pay to win" and less about skill and strategy
itss not that they comentetors didnt notice the lag im sure.its that they arent ever gonna talk about the lag until someone just completely stops or something
It means some people chose not to go to the tournament because of the weather conditions, and the people they were supposed to play got a free win since they weren’t there to play aka a bye.
yeah so because of weather conditions a lot of trainers couldn't make the tournament which resulted in some competitors getting 1, 2 or even 3 bye rounds. I did not receive any byes but you could argue that's a good thing to give me more matches to get in the zone with my team.
@@Reis2TheOccasion aye it's a good confidence boost to know you went through a really tough bracket and did so well. Can't really get that experience anywhere else apart from the tournaments with all the pressure and such.

Yeah my shirt had an American Flag logo and Pokémon is pretty strict with sponsors/logos so they covered it up

Where is BOYGOS? Is he safe? Is he ok?
He's good last time I heard from him. He's taking a break/semi-retired from Pogo I believe. He's frustrated with Niantic.
