    The tayroad was great idea but I think a tay tunnel would have been better and cost less money but the equipment what they have today they did not have back 1965 so tay road bridge we all make do great veiwing my heart gose toward brave men build bridge brave men that died god bless them all big thank you to them all .Karl dundee uk.

    My uncle Jimmy Jimmy Lennie was killed while operating a crane in a big storm in Nov 64 , the crane crashed into the river , imagine using a crane now in storm force winds - against all Health & Safety Laws

      My dad will remember that, he's told me about shipping hitting the bridge and guys having to run out the shed ( Buckie ) they were having a break in. Sad about your uncle. My dad is Norrie Connell.
