Some of the best photos of the old Dundee I remember as a young fella, ( I am now chasing seventy six and living on the other side of the world ), Many of the place names now evade me but it was great to see them again. Cheers
What a fabulous load of photos of old Dundee,, With plenty proof of our hidden History on the Great Tartarian buildings and Mudflood buildings, Hidden in plain sight :-) as they say,,, While watching I realised I can remember the policemen were the traffic lights on Albert/ Princess St ,Arbroath and Victoria roads. Thanks for posting. an expat.
thank you for posting these pics i'm really enjoying looking through them i was hoping to see a pic of Annfield St where i was born and lived there for many years in 1955 on wards still 50 mins to go so here's hoping it's there ,thanks again.

I sailed with a dundonian and we went into a fish and chip shop and he said TWE PEYS AIN INGIN AND AIN PLEN . I said what the fek did you say he said in a posh accent I asked the lady for two pies one onion and one plain what part of dundonian don’t you understand my favourite memory of DUNDEE and I’m from EDINBURGH sixty miles away accents can be different just miles apart
great video. . . saw my old house demolished (3 Hilltown) . . .I'm all for development, but I do think they ripped the heart out of Dundee. . . went too far.
A load of random and untitled photos of old Dundee accompanied by some absolutely atrocious Country and Western singing. Ten minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Aye our accent is hard to understand but is good so different from yours 😂
Made into a book, these photographs could make a good Christmas album for present and past Dundonians. They would need the images titled, though.
I'm a Dundonian and sadly I must agree lol
