- Bonnie Raitt performs "Green Lights" live at the Farm Aid concert in Champaign, Illinois on September 22, 1985. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Keep it up! Loved your music since 68,or was it 69! Whatever, I'm 65 n still loving your music n rock'n'roll! 😎😎👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🎸🎸🎸🎸
A great NRBQ song, composed by Q members Terry Adams and Joey Spampinato!
She has another video from 1989 doing this one. They're both great. Probably the only one that could cover NRBQ and make it their own!
Green Light is my favorite of all her albums.
Bonnie kicks ass. Have loved her since the 70's. Green Light was one of her best albums. This live performance is great. She hit the big time a few years after this, but she has always been great! She can belt the blues, break your heart and rock out. A true pioneer. Dynamite!
Yes this is Mellencamp's band, the one that smoked during the mid to late 80's. Was never the same after Larry Crane left, he's just he epitome of cool here with the telecaster. Everything about this is perfect, remember watching it late one night after a few beers, changed my outlook on music. Still never tire watching it. See also Mellencamp doing 'Lonley Ol Night' on the MTV Awards show back in 1985.
Love that glance she gives back to the band over her shoulder just :030 in when she can feel that they are locked together and rockin'.
Ass-kicking - as I recall this is Mellencamp's band with her- excellent!
Watched this years ago live and it blew me away. Went out and bought the CD. So pleased that you have uploaded this absolute gem of a live number. Brilliant quality too! Great writing, brilliant band, Bonnie Raitt at her very best. Fabulous, Fabulous music! This live version is so much more real than the record! Great Stuff!
how much would I have loved to join that band.Love it.
Kenny Aronoff - yes!
Awesome!
Really playing up her femininity here with all the makeup and pink earrings. She’s a beast though. She don’t need all that.
