It was actually the second time Sasuke had said thank you to Sakura. The first time was when they said goodbye before he left Konoha
he said thank you when obito and sakura saved him from that dimension

He complimented her analytical and observation skills, protects her several times, and regards her as a precious nakama (Gaara fight) before he left the village. I think Sasuke can be a character that is difficult for people to understand, especially people who have only watched the anime. He can be harsh but on the inside he is very emotional, it’s what drives everything he did. I like the way Kishimoto described him as pure, whether what he does is viewed as good or bad or selfish. Sakura also describes him as pure in Sasuke Retsuden. Sometimes Studio Pierrot directors like to change things and leave stuff out for who knows what reason, and the fact that they added a ton of unnecessary filler doesn’t help.
"The Last: Naruto the Movie". This movie is the first to be canon in the Naruto franchise and it's necessary before you get to the last arc of Shippuden. I just wanted to warn you early on before you get to the last arc and get confused. Don't worry, you'll enjoy the movie a lot as it focuses on one of the favorite plots in all Naruto franchise.

Sasuke and Sakura's relationship is developed in the novel, though it ain't animated yet. I think it is gonna adapted in the Boruto manga this year, and perhaps into the anime next year or so.

About Sasuke and Sakura relationship, if you watch the og Naruto, Sakura was the only girl Sasuke actually cared about. He saved her some times for example when they fought with Orochimaru for the first time in chunin exam. And in the manga he sometimes blushed around Sakura. They changed that in the anime, I don't know why. I mean he even thanked her before leaving the village.
And I don't know if I read it in manga or novels but Sakura talked with Sasuke everyday when he was in jail after war.
The final tap you saw in this episode that Sasuke did to Sakura's forehead was his way of showing his love for her and acknowledged her, that's what he learned from his brother to show his love.

@@SasukeUchiha0172 It was years ago when I read the manga but I guess one of the moment Sasuke blushed, was in chapter 4 (or 5) when they first met Kakashi and they were talking about their goals and what they're going to do. When Sakura is talking about herself and looking at Sasuke, he was blushing. There were other scenes too but I can't remember exactly what chapter they were.

I just realised y’all started by reacting to Naruto’s openings and endings and now after so long y’all have almost finished Naruto (the main arc) thank you so much for all the reactions and then the discussions and theories and after thoughts it was all amazing can’t even wait for more content
He's introverted. in the show is it focused on Naruto not him the only time you get to see his thoughts is with the little things he says. At the end of shinpudin with the memory splice. He also said thank you to Sakura when he left the village the first time he said something to Naruto when she was crushed against the tree with gaara. he said save her I believe. It's very subtle but there was something there. He just didn't have time for that s*** he was doing his own thing. Then the next time he saw her after OG Naruto she charged a punch and ran at him.

You should have watched the very end of the episode. There is an awesome epilogue spoken from the third hokage about the tale of Naruto Uzumaki, the shinobi who tamed the nine tails.

PS. After that reflection about pain and what does it mean to be a ninja I'm almost sure that MAYBE at some point, Pain's arc was the original last arc in Kishimoto's plan.
Maybe. But at the same time, the rest of the 5 kage would never have been revealed, plus no closure to "mystery man Madara". Probably the only think that wasn't planned so far in advance was the defeat of the real Madara/Kaguya stuff.

Naruto is a descendent of Hashirama plus Ashura incarnate, so makes sense why it would be compatible. Sasuke too, since he accepted Hashirama cells from Kabuto when he healed him from death.

this is the "ending" in the manga (chp. 699), after that they time skip to stuff from Boruto in the final chapter (700) from here the anime adapts stuff from the novels

the shinobi world being totally unaware of sasuke's revolution definitely played a part in the decision

If the Naruto series would have ended with this last close-up of the headband it would have been enough. It´s really like a perfect end. Ofc you don´t get to see the others more grown-up, don´t know how they are doing etc. but it wraps up the most necessary ends so I think this would have been a great ending point.

This is the anime adaptation of the last chapter of the Manga (minus an epilogue that sets up Boruto). The remaining episodes are a filer arc and then adaptations of three of the tie-in novels.

Pain , sacrifice , war , hatred , love and etc ... .
In the end kishimoto gave us his answer for peace 💯 . Pain's ideology but in naruto's way . Not causing pain but trying to understand it and fighting and defeating people who try to breed conflict . Really loved how naruto finally saw sasuke in a place of giving his headband back . That headband is both a symbol of hatred/war and love/peace 🔥💯

I thought it was dumb that sasuke doesn't take a new arm, and after watching NC hammer's rant about sasuke I realise how many options he has for a new arm... he can make a mechanical one, or get his own original brand new one from his rinnegan, and getting a hashirama cells arm would probly increase his powers... but no, he's too good for that I guess.
The way that Sasuke is nerfed so badly to set up the Boruto series is completely unbelievable and ridiculous. Don't know why they have to unnaturally hold back his power and potential so much but I really don't like it.
@@bazimyan I bet they just needed to bring down the power scale for sake of boruto, but they didn't want to write a stupid explanation for nerfing everyone, but they needed someone top tier still in the anime as nostalgia and guidance, and naruto still has to be the strongest so they can have him become hokage... so it makes sense, since no one else would be as cool in that position, but it's still very lame, even more so since naruto isn't exactly taking a back seat in boruto making it feel like they should have just had another naruto series and then later nerfed him before boruto.
I wonder if sasuke did take the hashirama cells, and eventually unlocked a natural rinnegan, would he be able to turn off the given one?
