I have a Tahoe and I love it. I’ve wanted to throw something else into it and now a 6.2 sounds like such a good idea. And honestly, best looking generation from GM by far. One thing about the transmission is the shift map has to get adjusted a little bit. That’s the only way to get them to downshift sooner

I actually just got a 6.0 lq9 out of an Escalade to drop in a 350Z for those same cheap reasons lol. Goin cast iron over aluminum will save u about 3000 and it's only like a 200 maybe 250 lbs weight difference

I love the unassuming look of the truck - classy luxury but a beast under the hood, especially when you switch the exhaust to track mode. I know you called out some of the things you did to it but any plans on listing all and with parts used?
I'd love to do a v8 swap and awd conversion from a v8 explorer into my father's 92 ranger while he is still alive, nice 500whp setup. I keep telling him he has to hang in there another 40yrs at least. Your father would be proud
My Trailblazer SS looked stock under hood except for the 4" intake and headers. It had a 416ci LS3 with WCCH LS3 Stage 2 heads. That's why I love LS engines in trucks because they can be hiding so much. I have a LQ9 in my Yukon now that looks completely stock.
It all goes to prove that this is a very versatile and robust platform. My '06 LTZ71 has some good acceleration characteristics for a 5860 lb. vehicle (wet), but nothing as ferocious and intimidating as that 2013.
Love the truck man. Awesome. I got to keep my dads H2 Hummer SUT with the 6.0 in it completely stock when I got it from wheels to interior. Plan to do a lot of what you’ve done to it and keep it classy though like your wheels which I really like BTW. They’re not out there and to crazy looking just nice and classy.

Hell yeah sick setup have a 2008 Cadillac Escalade ext same body style as that avalanche thinking of doing some similar work to it has a 6.2 as well only thing is that the Escalade i got is awd if I go with that setup I would make more power out of it 💯

awsome job teo , its nice to see guys like us ...love theses cool trucks . i also have two avalanche trucks 04 n 2012 .... 04 i painted gator-gaurd boxliner on all plastics except the top parts of truck. navy blue w/off-road pkge ...2012 is FULLY LOADED n black ..not sure yet on that .
