Benny's on the Beach could close for good

Lake Worth Beach has decided not to extend the lease for Benny's on the Beach, leading some, including the mayor, to hope "cooler heads will prevail."

Are the city board members doing what the people of Lakeworth want or their own individual wants?

Definitely what they want to do. Dude had accepted a 33% rent increase and additional 3.5% increase per year and still they shut it down.
Benny's is a landmark and the only business at the casino that actually draws people there.
