You'll probably think I'm nuts but I watch your video's every week and I live nowhere near a Costco! I'm so jealous of the choices you guys have :-) Shopping is pretty boring here in Alice Springs.
Great video. Those mini cinnamon scrolls are yummy. I bring my hard esky in the car and wrap a plastic bag around the mince as I find it always leaks. Nice quality meat.
I no what you mean, I did a rookie move and forgot to put the plastic bag over my mince and it leaked in my freezer bag 🙄 I won't forget next time. I love the Costco mince, it's my favourite 👍
Love your videos🌻🌼🌺I’ll be off to Costco for Fathers Day his birthday is a week later🎂🎊Love the pork medallions I slice them in half and cook. The chicken Alfredo I think is a bit bland but hubbies loves it so I add some relish sauce to help the flavour. Last time I bought a bbq chicken and made it myself, lots cheaper The Kirkland dishwasher tabs are the best the Pastries freeze and defrost well also. I scoop out a circle in the middle of the muffins and add whipped cream and different flavours, eg lemon butter, Nutella cut the top in half and put on to yummy 😊😊😊
Thanks for watching. That muffin idea sounds delicious. Also, I was surprised how thick the pork steaks were. I pounded them down a bit flatter and they grew to double the size. They were very nice, I'll be buying them again for sure.
I’m an Aussie living in the U.K. (and Costco member). I love the same same but very different feel between countries. I wish I could bulk buy cherry ripes!
Random harvest have amazing products..I buy them from TVSN..they only bring out their rubs,.bbq sauces dressings..sweets eand many more..balsamic dressings for Easter..Christmas..I recall, Im sure they did a mother's and fathers day too..really top notch..taste and price point, in my opinion .regards Karolyn Melbourne
For the first time I noticed that except the New York Hot Dog Rolls, everywhere else there are sesame seeds on them! I can only wish. Saw someone in the San Francisco area and the same seeds. Now I have to look at more places!
I'm not sure which one is the biggest, I'll have to look into that. I'm planning to visit Costco Docklands soon before it closes and do a video in there 👍
Not sure if it varies by store, but I usually go after work (around 5pm on a Friday) and there’s always samples, albeit they are usually winding up for the day.
I always go on a weekday right when they open at 10. I get most of the samples on our second lap of the store when it's about 11, then they're all out and ready to try 👍
The mince is good (better than ww, Coles or Aldi). I freeze smaller portions too. Less shrinkage when cooking, and tastes better. I’ve bought those pork loins before, and vacuum sealed them in 3s for the freezer. They were OK, but I’ve had better. I’m glad they brought back the meat lovers pizza (not quite as good as it used to be) but I’m annoyed they replaced the original BBQ chicken and Chorizo pizza with the peri-peri. It’s nowhere near as good, and has too much bite for some of my family. I can also recommend the frozen tempura onion rings, the twin pack of shredded Mexican cheese, and the box of “Madeline” little cakes. There’s a lot of stuff I won’t buy at Costco, but when you know your prices, you can get a good deal (as long as you can store it, amend either share it or use it before the use by date). Cleaning products are usual a significant saving over the regular supermarkets.
@sonia15702 you need to compare the per litre price of Pine O Clean laundry sanitizer - Costco sell a much larger bottle than Aldi, so don’t just look at the bottle price. And I can’t buy Napisan oxy-action at Aldi……. I do buy plenty of stuff from Aldi, but Aldi don’t carry everything, nor are they always the best price for branded products you can buy elsewhere. The last lot of washing powder I bought was the bulk box of cold power from Bunnings as the per kg price was better than anywhere else, and it’s only cheaper at BigW when they have it on sale, or they price match it to Bunnings like they have done at the moment. Oh, and at around $5.25 per kg at Bunnings vs $24 from Coles for 2kg, it’s less than half the cost per kg, and even when Colesworths have it on a ‘half price’ sale, they are still $12 for 2kg. Like I said in my reply, know your prices….. PS: I can’t stand the smell of the Aldi powder 🤮
For the Vanish oxy action and the pine-o-clean sanitiser, they are around half to 2/3 the cost of anywhere else. But they are larger packs (which we have the space for). Like others have said, if you know your prices, there are decent savings to offset the annual membership. Some savings aren’t as good - like the 50 pack of mini kit-kats that are only $2 less than buying that many from Aldi. I used to buy fish there, but found a local shop that’s cheaper and offers smaller portions. I have bought meat a few times, and cut it down into smaller portions (like the pork belly and some cryovac beef) but all I buy now is the large mince and break it up into 7 portions and freeze it. Cheaper than the duopoly, less “shrinkage” when cooking, and tastes better too.
My point is she can move the camera around to show the items without picking them up, unless they are hidden behind boxes, which 95% aren't. Had no problem doing it when she first entered the store

🤣🤣 I don't think you're nuts at all. When you love Costco you can't get enough, I love going every week ❤ Thanks for watching

I love the sesame seeds, so nice 👍
Mooncakes are so delicious 😋
The ranch dressing is great on prawns.
That's good to know, thanks 😊
Love your videos. It looks like the Moorabbin store has a lot more items than my local Ringwood store. Is the Docklands store the biggest in Victoria?
I'm not sure which one is the biggest, I'll have to look into that. I'm planning to visit Costco Docklands soon before it closes and do a video in there 👍
What time do you go to get so many samples? I never get any

Hi, do you know if Costco has 10 or 12inch pizzas ? Thanks.
I'm not sure sorry. I don't think they had it written on the label, if I find out next trip I'll let you no 👍
I was just in there this morning and the ready to heat pizzas are 14 inches! Whoppers! 🤣🤣
I NEVER BUY THE TOP PACKAGE OF MEAT CHICKEN,ALWAYS GO DOWN ABOUT HALF WAY
I picked up all the meats on our second lap around the store. And I grabbed packs from lower down, good advice 👍
The enchiladas and the Alfredo are delicious
I like how random your choices are 😂
🤣🤣
pretty good vid, but do u reckon u could maybe show off some sushi next vid possibly? just curious to see their prices and all.
@@ivorroberts2683 you obviously didn't watch the video

I shop at all the stores as well 👍 it definitely pays to know the prices and do some research before you shop these days

Hokey pokey, is butterscotch flavour.
Yeah the ramen meal sets weren't nice at all.....the noodles were good but the rest was below average I enjoy watching your reviews thanks !
Thanks for watching 😊
What’s the tempura calamari like?
I haven't tried it. I bought the tempura onion rings in this video. They are great, they get nice and crispy in the oven 👍
the yoghurt is good value compared to coles & woolies
15:45 😮
The most expensive supermarket in Australia.
Like all supermarkets you get to know the pricing and pick and choose what you get where. Would never do an entire shop at Costco.
@@carolynrose9522 same, I never do a massive shop at Costco. But I do get a few things regularly. I shop at all the other stores too 😊

bruh u respond to every comment except mine
I saw your comment, I already checked out the sushi in this video.
Am I the only one who finds it annoying she picks everything up when you can clearly see what the item is on the shelf?
Yes
Go somewhere else if you don’t like it.
No because I like to get a good look at some of the items especially if I can freeze the nutrition facts.
My point is she can move the camera around to show the items without picking them up, unless they are hidden behind boxes, which 95% aren't. Had no problem doing it when she first entered the store
I like to see where it is made and some nutritional facts on the labels. Bit hard to do that when it's stacked on the shelf
