  • G'day everyone, Mum and I are back at our favourite shop Costco in Moorabbin, Victoria Australia. I had a few requests to check out the fruit and veg so that's what I did for today's video. There were also some yummy samples especially my new favourite sample ever, hot chocolate.
Thanks for watching, make sure to like and subscribe as it really helps the channel out a lot.

Yep, the fruit and veg portions are too big for us too. They aren’t really cheap either.

Hi thanks for the video always wanted to visit Costco but have never got around to it. You have to join to shop there is that right. I love Brussels sprouts. Loved the cakes you showed us .

Yes you have to pay a membership and when you factor that into the price, your no better off than shopping at ALDI.

Hi there, yes it's $65 per year to get a Costco membership. I find I save that in the cost of cheese slices and mince meat alone so I don't mind paying that at all. Also, my Mum and I love to eat at the food court, we get 2 meals with refillable drinks for $11 total I think that's a good deal. Thanks for watching 😊

If you save $5 a week shopping at Costco your membership pays for itself in 13 weeks. Just have to do your homework on price per kilo. Love brussel sprouts 😋

I used to get the potatoes, carrots, baby tomatoes and apples but agree, most of the salads, berries etc are too big for our family of 4. Yummy samples!

I find the fruit and veg prices too high for me at Costco as well. My local green grocer is much cheaper and also smaller portions. The membership fee is $65 per year and i find that I save that amount just on my purchases of cheese, meat and roast chicken. Plus Mum and I love the food court after a shopping trip. We get two large serves plus 2 refillable drinks for $11 total, so a good deal.

Read someone say it’s $65 fee .. not sure if it’s each year .. probably it is .. what a rip off

Membership is $65, which if you save just $5 a week on costco petrol, it's paid for itself in 13 weeks. I am looking forward to the new Ardeer store and its petrol prices.

I live rural but go to Costco whenever I get to Adelaide. I find they stock a far better range, and is cheaper, for gluten free, dairy free and peanut free foods than I can get at home. I don't buy Costco produce because it is dearer than my town.

I very rarely buy fruit and vegetables at Costco, I go mainly for meat, cheese, snacks and the roast chicken. I have a local green grocer that's far cheaper plus smaller portions. Thanks for watching 😊

Thought Costco be lot cheaper . Plus the fresh produce is only good for very large families or restaurants.. no good for single person. That’s why I’m reluctant to pay the big yearly fee to enter. Should be free to enter the store.

Same for me.. at least we can buy on fresh produce instead of one large expensive bag at Costco. Which many people won’t eat before it goes bad .

Prices for fruits and vegetables are ridiculous, even in the US. Especially since they throw so much away. Store would rather throw it away then reduce prices. Sad that my husband and I talk about how we need to win the lottery just so we could eat more fruits.

I thought the meat was wayyyyyy over priced .. thought be lot cheaper if customers have to pay yearly entry fee to even browse inside store. If Costco delete the entry fee I bet more people be interested in shopping in store

Yes, I don't normally buy fruit and veg from Coscto. I have an excellent green grocer near me that's very good value. I find Costco is better value in other food items though, like mince meat, roast chicken etc.

The fruit and veg are quite expensive compared to other stores. I shop at Costco mainly for meat, cheese and roast chicken, the savings I get on those items covers my membership fees for the year.
