The ending of "Dummy!" is amazing. It contrasts with the rest of the song really well, but isn't too complex of a shift to the melody. It loops really well.

Ellie McEla I realize that now, but if I'm not mistaken, Ghost Fight, Dummy! and Dogsong are the only tracks in the game that utilize it. Therefore I think it's pretty harmless to draw a connection between them, even though I mostly agree with you.

I want to thank you for making this (and any other similar videos you may have made already or will make). I was aware on a vague level of the multiple similarities of many of Undertale's songs, but this is exactly the kind of video I need, having no ear for music myself.

You're right, they sound pretty similar though. At the time I was making this video I thought it was a good idea to feature it, not so sure now though
JakobTheQuizGuy But if you'd apply the same logic to any other song, you could say that ghost fight quotes e.g. It Don't Mean a Thing by Duke Ellington - a jazz standard where many bassists use a descending walking bass.
The use of a descending walking bass, which in Ghost Fight and Dogbass' case, is so prominent in jazz, that one could hardly say that the songs quote each other.
Ellie McEla I realize that now, but if I'm not mistaken, Ghost Fight, Dummy! and Dogsong are the only tracks in the game that utilize it. Therefore I think it's pretty harmless to draw a connection between them, even though I mostly agree with you.
