Back In the day of MiniDV Scott Crane and I created live concert videos for numerous bands in and around the Seattle area.
Sometime in 2005 we had the pleasure of shooting and multi track recording Brandi Carlile Live From Neumo's in Seattle with SoundHouse.
I had originally posted this to MySpace back in the day (remember MySpace?) and made a couple DVD’s for the band.
RUclips was just starting as a company when we shot this hence why it wasn’t posted here until now.
A little side note. When we shot this the band had just signed their record deal earlier that day and as you can see were riding high that evening.
You can see the emotion in their faces and feel the passion in the performance. The doors to their career had just been opened wide and they were stepping through the threshold into the unknown….
I feel lucky that I was a fly on the wall and got to witness a small part of her career during the launch. She has gone to the moon and back since we made this video.

This was defintelly one of those "thrust your beer in the air, and sing along" songs. I miss those days!!!

This is fantastic ; do you have the whole concert, I saw your The story video..even better.. love the raw power and differences from later versions.

I was going through some old videos I shot and thought this one needed to be shared with the world. They released the audio from this show as a short live cd back in 06 but the videos have never been posted. We only made a couple DVD copies for the band and the label so not many people have seen young Brandy singing her heart out 🤙 This is probably the bands earliest video
