I guess you would call it "forlorn". You would have the subject gaze longingly out the window, like they are yearning for their distant love. Another would be "ravenous," with the subject looking right into the camera with excitement, like they are about to playfully devour their love. It's that thrilling feeling of anticipation. In both cases, there is a sexiness for the viewer about being desired by the subject.
@@cbstringham13 I should definitely try them. I am actually gonna update this video soon on BIB TV since I learned a few more 😋Thank you for the input.
@@yuliyapanchenko Yuliya, goodnight. Have you ever shown techniques for photographing people in low light or at concerts? I think low light is a challenge for everyone who shoots.
@@osmariobrito7776 I have lots of low light photography tutorials because it’s my style, but the lighting is controlled. Usually in concerts we don’t have control of the lighting. I have never done those types of even photography though.
I have always felt facial expressions are the most sensual forms of non verbal communication when done correctly. Thank you for making this video and possessing the knowledge to articulate and teach it in a manner that everyone can understand.
Thanks David! This is actually an older lesson from the course, but I will make an updated version because I actually need to add the “confident” facial expression to it :)
This video reminds me of those posing shorts you have done on occasion ( REALLY miss those btw😉). So enjoyable to have you share/explain your art with the rest of us.
I stopped the short posing videos on RUclips because it was effecting my view duration :) However, I have been making them on Instagram @believeinboudoir. You can follow them all there 😛

Think we're both intereest in gender psychology: I was surprised to learn that another YT bourdoir photographer recently noted that, when presenting images to to his clients, the woman usually prefers that more sensual or "sexy" images, whereas her husband/boyfriend opts for the more artistic ones. I wonder if this has something to do with males, especially the more insecure ones, being very unconformable with the notion that other males might be lusting for their mates, and male competition. Or perhaps some men still regard regard their mates as property or something they own. Don't know if you still deal with actual clients or are too busy with promoting courses or workshops or making new videos.
Actually one reason that I am not able to post very often on RUclips is because of clients. I still actively shoot clients and I am not planning to stop that any time soon :)) I guess what you mentioned depends on the culture and clientele. My clients are pretty much like me. Very relax, open minded, calm, happy and so on. So they are on the same page with their partners. However, I have had a few clients in the past, where the husband did not appreciate the boudoir session at all :) Those husbands are gone now lol 😂
@@yuliyapanchenko Thank you. Sorry, but it is so easy to overgeneralize about people, especially from just one example: (1) I assumed that photographers like you who are so busy on YT, etc., don't have time to shoot and make money from actual clients; (2) Based on the experience of one other boudoir photographer, the female client and her partner often have substantially different creative tastes.
@@vernonr7404 You are right though. I work over time. 7 days a week, minimum 12 hours a day 😩 So all my courses snd RUclips is done after hours. Sometimes at 1-2 am.
What other facial expressions do you think works best for boudoir photography?
