Yuliya, you are a wonderful teacher. And your model, perfectly trained, always attentive to your wishes. You are an ideal person to educate girls, change their behavior and make them very submissive
The master class sneek-peek continues ! Solange is such an amazing canvas to portray your art especially the parting treat @ 9:54, well worth the price of admission. I am so much looking forward to these little snippets on how your master class progresses. As always, thank you for the way you share your art with the rest of the world !
One thing I never used to have in my knowledge is the skin oil because I always used to wonder how to bloom the body highlights like that and just now in your video I got to know how. This is definitely something I'm going to try.
Your work is so informative, I admire the fact how you share your technique and explain in great detail. I have to admit, I have learned much from watching your video's an I look forward to watching and seeing more. I will continue to follow your work, I luv shooting boudoir. Your presentation of your skills set to give one a lot of confidents. Thanks so much for sharing, if you every visit Cali, I would definitely attend your seminar! Thanks once again, Jake Jacobs (Vision Images)

Beautifully sensual and elegant shoot of a lovely light of love and the beautiful woman she is. As always a great video and shoot lovely Yuliya as always looking for that sensual beauty behind the lens to shine not only in her work but as well in the sensual beauty she is. As mature beauty is such a beautiful and overlooked shoot to me though it appears maybe it's growing as mature women are finding they still are beautiful as they always have been. Just maybe need a boudoir or intimate shoot as this to find they still are just as beautiful as they always have been just in a new way that someone as you through the lens shows them they still are. They just may need to take that step and may also discover a new strength and courage that lives within them and to trust someone to shoot something so beautifully sensual and intimate. Still putting together my gear as with covid a lot of manufactures behind in their releases. But maybe once they are back up now that CES has happened maybe soon we'll see more newer stuff fixing some of the releases for last year and maybe even pick up some better pricing when they start catching up on production again. Be safe and love your videos and thanks again for a lovely shoot and the great tips. 🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹😍😍❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much Steve for your inspiring comment. I love how you described the need of boudoir photography. Boudoir is celebrating the intimacy and sensuality that is very popular among women, but it is not limited to females only. I do male and couple boudoir photography as well, but 60% of my clients are females. Good luck on your gear, and I hope you get them as soon as possible, so you can start shooting as you want ;)
Kudos are in order however; while light placement instructions are given in detail , I wonder what is the light ratio between the two lights? Thank you as always for you’re excellent presentations. Stay safe.
Thank you for your question. In this particular case I was going for equal ratio. There is no right or wrong answer to this since it’s an art form. I just go with what ever my eyes tell me :) unless, it is for a specific brand or magazine, and they ask for a specific contrast ratio. So as long as it’s in the proper exposure range, it’s fine. That was a good question though, and I think I should mention it next time. Thank you so much 😊
I love this lighting. I've done it for communion and some high school senior photos. But boudoir seems was cooler. And bonus we got to see you oil up the modal 😂😂😂 Also you did a great job explaining it.
THanks Yuliya for another interesting video. I miss info/instructions for flashes power setting/ distance in order to get proper lighting (no dark, no burnt), may be it would be useful a lightmeter? About oil spread method on model´s skin it needs a full explanation ... :)
Thank you for your comment. There is no right or wrong answer to this because it’s art. Just the highlights and shadows must be properly exposed and in the 0-100 range to keep details. Every light source and light modifier is different and my setup may not work for them unless they are using exact what I am using.
Beautiful work .. thanks for sharing as always. Would you mind sharing the power on the lights on the strip and Octabox that you use to achieve this beautiful look..? Thanks
My pleasure Carolina! I am glad you are still watching my videos :) I honestly don’t remember the power on each flash head. I was using ELB 400 so the max power at 100% is 424 Ws. I normally don’t over 60% power. Do you use ELB 400?
Great question: the powers are not the same, but I try to achieve the same power by shapes and distance of the light to subject. It’s doesn’t have to be the same. It’s all about your artistic view and what you want to achieve.
@@lavishjemz6232 Thanks for the answer. That’s correct! This particular system give a 3:1 ratio but the distance and shapes of the soft-boxes kinda brings the ratio closer. The Octa also has a inner diffuser.
Totally agree. I notice that the photographer did not ask for permission from the model to rub the oil on her chest. Also, as a professional, I do not think being a female photographer permits liberties to be taken either. Aside from that, I enjoyed the video.
Haha. Whatever happened to the photographer not touching the model?! I love your videos but a guy would never get away with this. "What a privilege to do this for Solange..." I bet it was! Lmao.
Lovely images I must say....but..... First couple thoughts when the video started was what happened to the general rule of the photographer not touching the model? It felt inappropriate and wrong for the photographer to be rubbing the models breasts. Also what is the photographer wearing???? It doesn't seem professional in that you couldn't even raise your hands over your head, lean over or stand over a reclined model with any modesty. Again though...great images.
Hello David. Thank you for your comment. You are right, it’s not appropriate to rub oil on a model. However, Solange is not my regular model. We work together and she is completely fine with it and asked me to do it so she won’t get her hands oily. About the dress, this is my style and what I normally wear on a daily basis. I am not on a wedding or client shoot. This is my channel and I need to keep content informative, professional, and entertaining as well. Also, I am a boudoir photographer and if I can’t be comfortable with my body, how can I help my clients to feel comfortable with theirs. I do appreciate your honest thoughts on this video though :) Thank you for the compliment on the images 🤗

almond oil is the best for the texture of the skin, it does not slip, and dries immediately, leaving a perfect texture for the magic clicks
Almond oil it is then 😜
