  • The exhibition "Identity and Response: Works by African-Americans, on display at the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art from January 19 through June 27, 2021, includes works from the Museum's permanent collection created by Black artists over a span of more than 80 years, as well as pieces from the personal collection of local artist and guest curator Michael Ross and art produced by him. Ross and the Museum's Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, Kristen Miller Zohn, moderate a discussion with some of the artists whose work is featured in the exhibition: Mark Harris, Virginia Jourdan, Kristine Mays, William Rhodes, Ron Moultrie Saunders, and Letitia Waller.
