Also I think I belong in high plat - low diamond (support, placed 2100 and climbed to 2300 but solo queue so maybe that) because I usually use my lucio boops to peel people off of me or save our good mccREEEE or the Moira and then I get back with my speed normally to stay behind the shields so I can’t get picked while I heal everyone. Yeah based on thst where should I be? (Oh and my aim is mediocre at best and I do call out things a lot like “hog low” or “zarya might have ult so be prepared” or stuff like that) I get called talkative due to call outs sometimes so I’m not sure why but I do talk about random stuff before the game begins.

While widow has crap hipfire rifle and has to be zoomed in by x10 to impact fire. 3. Widows are good Ana's...but Ana's doesn't mean you're a good widow.

Christian Freed I switch between Hanzo and Widow a lot depending on the enemy team. If they have a Pharah I’ll pull out Widow to take out the Pharah since it’s easier to hit her with Widow than Hanzo.
I'm half convinced that the reason people say they should be in gm is so that sty would pick their videos to review. We all know that a title like "this gold genji thinks he's gm" is the kind of video audiences are going to click on.
He's just a flexer. You can tell by the way he plays, he spends more time thinking about being flashy than thinking about what play will win the fight/game. Something I have had to work on to get out of the same SR range despite having decent mechanics
g_kub the double blink with tracer through the zen is an example of this, he used 2 BLINKS to engage, never good since it shows that’s he only has 1 blink to fight and I don’t think he used recall once

Back then I would ask one time to get at least one tank, if they kept the 5 dps I would battle Mercy the rest of the game if they couldn't exterminate the other team (happened once on road 66, ennemi team couldn't push the payload passed the first choke, was horrible to keep 5 people alive all by myself tho). Role queue is a gift from the gods...

These are the kinds of dps I always get while tanking in plat. Than they blame us tanks for not shielding, killing, and protecting them while they die over and over from either over extending or out of position.
Y'know, I just had an idea and I'm wondering if anyone's suggested it yet. What if you did Overanalyzed as normal except for one minute/huge change: read the player's e-mail at the END of the video instead of the beginning. Maybe that's a bit stupid, but I think if you just analyzed the gameplay as normal, and then read the email - for the very first time - at the end of the segment, then your concluding comments could have a little more substance because they could be tied specifically to the concerns being mentioned by the player, or NOT mentioned. Maybe they say in the e-mail, "I have a problem with this and this," and you can respond in hindsight by saying, "You actually need work at this and that." I think that reading the e-mail beforehand creates a bias for you in your head as you go through the video, which can skew your reactions and criticisms, and this video is a great example. Of course, this player you could argue deserved a bit of ribbing because he's so far from GM it's a bit of a joke, but you see what I mean. What would this video have been like if you hadn't known he thought he was a GM player until the end? Would it add value to the discussion? Would it change how your analysis of this video played out? Food for thought. Keep it up, mate. Always fun to watch.
Recipe for a bad DPS who think he's the best: -Open with Widow, hit nothing -Follow with genji, but the other team don't find you annoying -Close with Hanzo, have 10% accuracy -You may add a bit of feeding Tracer, but be sure to be unable to kill anything
ik communication and having a mic is important to doing well in overwatch, but i have pre bad social anxiety and don't really feel comfortable with talking much, but i try to communicate using the ingame chat options (i'm on console so i cant really type) would i be throwing if that were the case or would i still be able to climb without talking? just wondering
I would not say you are throwing, part of communication is listening, part of being in a team is following instructions, so as long as you can do those two things you should be mostly fine. However in saying that: some heroes require communication to work at their best, so that could be an issue; calling out flankers is very handy; also the ability to be a shotcaller is very handy. But you can do just fine without those things if you play with the team and play smart :) Best of luck besting your anxiety, I know its hard to deal with but it can be done. Personally im good most the time, but it does get the better of me past a point. My only suggestion is to find a space where you feel safe but can also push your limits.
Im a console ashe main and i struggle with talking too lucky for me my hero doesnt need much communication because her ult and her dynamite are quite loud and easy to follow up on for my team
I learned something today that will likely propel me into the upper echelon of players in this game DONT STOP SPRAYIN' Which is sung to the tune of "Don't stop believin" by Journey.
Dashing in the air isn't always the play when blading. Like, dash+ult+slash+dash is a one shot combo that doesn't work if you is your first dash to go up. It's especially good for shutting down Lucio before his ult hits the ground.

These are the kinds of dps I always get while tanking in plat. Than they blame us tanks for not shielding, killing, and protecting them while they die over and over from either over extending or out of position.

Y'know, I just had an idea and I'm wondering if anyone's suggested it yet. What if you did Overanalyzed as normal except for one minute/huge change: read the player's e-mail at the END of the video instead of the beginning. Maybe that's a bit stupid, but I think if you just analyzed the gameplay as normal, and then read the email - for the very first time - at the end of the segment, then your concluding comments could have a little more substance because they could be tied specifically to the concerns being mentioned by the player, or NOT mentioned. Maybe they say in the e-mail, "I have a problem with this and this," and you can respond in hindsight by saying, "You actually need work at this and that." I think that reading the e-mail beforehand creates a bias for you in your head as you go through the video, which can skew your reactions and criticisms, and this video is a great example. Of course, this player you could argue deserved a bit of ribbing because he's so far from GM it's a bit of a joke, but you see what I mean. What would this video have been like if you hadn't known he thought he was a GM player until the end? Would it add value to the discussion? Would it change how your analysis of this video played out? Food for thought. Keep it up, mate. Always fun to watch.
Recipe for a bad DPS who think he's the best:
-Open with Widow, hit nothing
-Follow with genji, but the other team don't find you annoying
-Close with Hanzo, have 10% accuracy
-You may add a bit of feeding Tracer, but be sure to be unable to kill anything

ik communication and having a mic is important to doing well in overwatch, but i have pre bad social anxiety and don't really feel comfortable with talking much, but i try to communicate using the ingame chat options (i'm on console so i cant really type)
would i be throwing if that were the case or would i still be able to climb without talking? just wondering

I would not say you are throwing, part of communication is listening, part of being in a team is following instructions, so as long as you can do those two things you should be mostly fine. However in saying that: some heroes require communication to work at their best, so that could be an issue; calling out flankers is very handy; also the ability to be a shotcaller is very handy. But you can do just fine without those things if you play with the team and play smart :)
Best of luck besting your anxiety, I know its hard to deal with but it can be done. Personally im good most the time, but it does get the better of me past a point. My only suggestion is to find a space where you feel safe but can also push your limits.
Play fortnite or call of duty. This is a team based competitive game.
Im a console ashe main and i struggle with talking too lucky for me my hero doesnt need much communication because her ult and her dynamite are quite loud and easy to follow up on for my team
I love how team nr2 is using 5 ults but still loses (27:50)

Dashing in the air isn't always the play when blading. Like, dash+ult+slash+dash is a one shot combo that doesn't work if you is your first dash to go up. It's especially good for shutting down Lucio before his ult hits the ground.
