@@sailorsagittarius8526 Germany, yeah, Cartoon Network shows sometimes air on Nick Germany due to a law that means that a show must also air on free-to-air television or something like that. Nick is free-to-air in Germany, while Cartoon Network ain’t.
I actually remember one time when The Fairly Odd Parents aired in Nickelodeon and those two channels owned by Disney at the exact same time. It was like the Planets were alining lol.
I also remember finding out that both Mr Bean and Harry Hill's TV Burp (2 British Live Action Shows) once aired on Cartoon Network UK with Regular Show, Johnny Test, Adventure Time, etc.
Nelvana only Distributed FOP to other Disney Affiliated Channels Like Disney Channel (Obviously) and Jetix (later rebranded to Disney XD) The Entire First 4 Seasons and Half of the Fifth one The rest of the series aired normally on Nickelodeon And btw, it's not only in Spain, but also other Latin American Countries like mine
As a Spanish I didn't know FOP and Johnny Test were from different networks til I had access to the Internet, but outside those shows Disney Channel Spain also aired many others that felt a bit out of place: My Little Pony FiM, Totally Spies, LoliRock and animes like Mermaid Melody, Hamtaro or Ninja Hattori
i can confirm the second one, i remember seeing it there once during the early 2010s, idk if its like that in america but in germany comedy central and nick were on the same channel (kinda like CN and adult swim are) for a good time so that probably explains why spongebob aired there
In Germany, the Jimmy Neutron and Fairy Odd Parents Crossovers are listet as Jimmy Neutron Episodes. They are in Germany technical Jimmy Neutron Episodes and aired on Nickelodeon
3:42 aaaaand there goes my brain.. WHY DISNEY CHANNEL NICKELODEON WAS FINE BUT DISNEY CHANNEL!? bruh im my few years as a cartoon enthsiast ive never seent his before XD
I am living example, it's true The fairly oddparents be aired in Latin America for Disney channel, that explain why nickelodeon not have all the seasons in Latin America
A reason why some cartoons aired on rival TV Channels in other Countries is that not every channel like Cartoon Network exist in every Country. TV Broadcast can be very difference im some countries. In Germany was Pay-TV/Calbe never a success. When you want a successful series in Germany, you must broadcast is on Free-TV. Especialy for CableTV Channels is this difficult. Sometimes is a rival Channel the only option for a series to publish in a country
Polish guy here. Here is the fucked up list of what aired in my country as a kid 2007 - 2014: fairly odd parents- Disney XD, Disney channel Ninjago - Teletoon, Nickeleodoen, Cartoon network Sonic Boom - Teletoon Penguins from the Madagascar - Nickeleodeon, Comedy Central, a Tv network that is called puls 2 Pokemon (any gen with 16:9 aspect ratio)- Disney XD and now for the most fucked up one Any netflix dreamworks show - teletoon, puls 2
Things are better for Family Guy now. When it was on Adult Swim they only had the rights to seasons 1-15. Now on FX, FXX, and Freeform they can air all the episodes.
Fun Fact: Many countrys are not so strict to speak about controversal themes like s.x or nudity like the US. One Piece broadcast in Germany 2003 on a Kids TV Channel based on the original japanese version and it was the most time not cencored. Some Dialoges are a litte defused and the characters a less cursing, but they are still some time cursing. But in all the series was nearly untouched in the German Version. In some Episode of the German Dub of Disney's Recess. TJ says Shit
Spanish here: In Spain, cable television was not particularly widespread until very recently. Therefore, most of the animated series were broadcast on public television channels, so we Spaniards are not aware of: Oh, this is a Cartoon Network character, or this is a Nickelodeon character. Except in very specific and concrete cases (for example, the Aladdin series we knew was from Disney, despite broadcasting on a public channel). So these crossovers didn't make us raise our eyebrows too much, it was just something like: Oh Ed, Edd and Eddy are in Billy and Mandy, that's funny.
in germany the amazing world of gumball and adventure time aired on nickelodeon too, kind of funny since adventure times pilot was proudced at nickelodeon back in 2007
Fairly odd parents airs in Israel not only on Nickelodeon but also on Disney channel, with 2 seperate dubs
Crazy world we live in. In South America, it aired on Jetix

I think one of the reasons Johnny Test fits with the other series is because the animation style is so similar to shows like MLTR and DP
I somehow remember Johnny test airing on Disney Channel in Nebraska before it aired on Cartoon Network
As an aussie most american shows air on ABC kids and ABC me.
or rather ABC 3
