Great video. Thank you. We built the Advanta 2 bed on this design of the CareAssist.

Will Hospice have this bed or will Medicaid pay for this bed?

Hi Jeff...I too, am an RN....I would be interested to know the 2-3 "big things that 'go wrong' with the Hill Rom bed" please...as I'll be working with them in your capacity soon.
Thank you for your time sir. Cheers.

We have not seen really any one item that goes wrong on a regular basis. Most warranty repairs are done direct with Hill-Rom. They are designed to be worked 24 hrs a day in the hospital. My guess as in anything electronic you have a chance of cables going bad and or contact points. Also the hand pendant since it comes out from the rail might be something that may need replaced over time. For now minimal issues that I know of.

On this bed the items that frequently go out are the hilow columns, load beams, caster systems and main bearings. All of these items should be check annually as described by the PM schedule.
