The Hill Rom Progressa bed is one of the most expensive and high end ICU hospital beds made and used in hospitals around the United States. This hospital bed is full electric and includes a pulmonary feature for the lings called "percussion - vibration" which helps break up congestion on the lungs and simulates what a respiratory therapist would do.
This medical bed is popular for patients with limited or no mobility and the mattress features also include low air loss, lateral turning and boost which helps slides a patient up the front of the bed. The bed also has an egress feature making it easier to get out of the chair position. This is one of the only ICU beds made that has a full chair position you can get out of.
The Hill Rom Progressa bed is a newer version of the Hill Rom P1900 TotalCare Sport 2 bed which included the same basic features except with a lot of hydraulic parts included. The Hill Rom P7500 Progressa includes the same features but is one hundred percent electric without hydraulics and normally has less service calls.
